For All Mankind Trailer - Apple TV- SPOILER

Apparently someone saw a "Free Mars" graffitti in the season finale end scenes ... so we can start speculating what that means... and i gues si didn't see it correctly...i thought Dev was looking up from Mars at Goldilocks, but the link said that he was actually at the edge of a crater on the asteroid itself.

So apparently things worked out for him at the beginning of next season.... i am assuming that Dev struck some kind of deal where any opposing nations get a cut of Goldilocks to appease them.

But wondering if he winds up screwing people like Miles in the process? i don't see why Miles would stay if he got his money from his actions on behalf of Dev? Or is that slogan a part of Dev's plan to make Mars a soveriegn nation, and he was totally up for the "paint job" so any media sent to earth gets that plastered in the global consciousness

As for why Sara decided to join the heist... I mean, if it works out, then workers get a bigger piece of the pie, and she (thinks she ) has leverage with Dev in making sure future workers

And regarding "woke" -- it has become a political term.. Derived from African Americans but hijacked by "progressive" whites, who still may in some ways act "unprogressively" (i.e. mayors like Rahm EManuel or gentrifiers of many Chicago neighborhoods)

It's as derogatory for conservatives as calling anyone defying or simply calling out the Democratic Party in Chicago a Republican (even if they are a lifelong Democrat ).

I see "woke" in media as something being "preached" as hard as a conservative Christian movie trying to make its point (i.e. a left wing version of "God is not Dead"). Star Trek TOS is a great example of "progressive" values being "taught" in a way that wasn't preachy.

I think it's safe to assume that Earth will not simply roll over after the heist, even if it seems that a few years down the line everything has settled down just fine.

Earth is petty and lost out in Trillions of profit and what's even worse lost face and control. We humans, especially some, don't react too well to being publicly humiliated so i could well see the next season at least in part deal with the fallout of this. I'm not sure what it will be be but in either case if i were Dev i'd make sure to set up some kind of orbital defence on Mars. Doesn't have to be big as ships in that reality are not heavily armored and armed battleships - a few holes are more than enough to dissuade any notions of a hostile takeover.

Barring that Mars finding its footing as a true colony of mankind with all the realitiies, political and conditions on the ground, could be interesting to see but in the long run just them solving engineering problems and being diplomatic with Earth wouldn't be as dramatic so all bets are on who the next villain will be.

Season 4 lost it's magic for me. The First 3 seasons were about exploring space, the last one turn in to political drama in space.
I was hoping for a journey beyond Solar System, but i guess Mars is as far as this show will take us
Every two seasons, they push forward out within the solar system. While the season finales of the past demonstrated those puahes and this one only shows the mining operations on Goldilocks, it's still very conceivable that those operations help fuel greater exploration. That can still happen while also showing a Mars/Earth conflict (which is a classic sci-fi theme).

Any news on a Season 5 of For All Mankind?

Should the Apple TV+ space drama get renewed, Samantha and the others who helped steal asteroid Goldilocks will be in a heap of trouble.

“There’ll be justice!” co-showrunner Ben Nedivi avows with a laugh.
Adds co-showrunner Matt Wolpert: “I think the dominos of the fallout of this asteroid heist are going to be really interesting to figure out once we are able to kind of dig into a potential Season 5, and we just have to see how that all unfolds. But there’s definitely going to be some consequences for some of these people.”

Saw this posted on reddit, there's a reference to FAM in The Expanse - Season 5 Episode 1

Naren Shankar worked on both shows, maybe he had it snuck in.

What's the deal about physical releases?
I managed to score season 1 from the UK but are any of the others on disk at all?

Just finished now - was taking it slow.
I'm pleased that things that seemed stereotypical in the beginning of the season didn't end that way, like Miles "doing dumb, blow up in everyone's face".
Looking forward to next season.
I don't understand how Lee Jung-Gil suddenly got his wife onto Mars - is NK less travel-restrictive in that timeline?

Phenomenal news! I genuinely worried we wouldn't get another season. One step closer to fulfilling that long-term plan they've been working on. Question is who besides Aleida, Kelly, and Dev will be the main focus? As I already hoped for throughout season four, I really hope Sam becomes one of the primary focuses especially since she didn't die during the heist as I feared she would've. Will we see Ed, Dani, and Margo at all? Will Ellen return in some form? I can't wait to find out!

I'm also shocked but excited about the Star City announcement. I'm very curious how they'll tell that story from a (presumably) strictly Soviet perspective. Will the whole show be spoken in Russian? Will certain Soviet characters show up? And most importantly, how can they maintain the drama when we already know the broad strokes of the space race already? I can see it working as a limited series but as an ongoing one? I'm not certain but I'll definitely keep an open mind.
