Frasier revival

I think you read “season” where I wrote “episode”. What I meant was that it felt weird how late in the finale the special guest star appeared and how as a result of that she was barely in the episode. I enjoyed seeing her again all the same, but it felt weird, because when they brought back Lilith it was for the entire episode, not just the last act.

Possibly because they didn't want the entire episode to be about Roz, but to be about grief and dealing with it, with Roz's appearance being cameo for old fans.

Or maybe Peri Gilpin charged too high of a daily rate.

It did feel a bit like they brought her on and then realized they didn't really have an idea what to do with her. Again, this old fan was more than happy to have seen her. But at the same time I think it would have been nice if they had come up with something a little more substantial for her return after all those years. But oh well, fingers crossed they’ll bring her back when and if the show continues.

Only ten episodes a season and they already spent one on a legacy character. I'm sure the writers want to play with their own toys. Keep in mind, only 1 episode in the first season of OG Frasier had a Cheers character (Lilith), 16 out of the 264 episodes total.

Oops, I sure did.

In that case, I think it was done to best utilize Roz for the story, i.e. when Frasier was at his holiday lowest, she showed up to boost his spirits...and demonstrate Freddy's good intentions from the start.

I'm watching the new SCIFI thingy on MGM +, Beacon 23, and there's a gritty hard boiled space soldier of fortune on track to killing everyone who has Eve from Frasier's hair cut... I mean it's exactly the same hodge-podge of dye jobs at war... Except for the eyebrows... Is it the same woman?

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo... Maybe?

Good lord...

I've seen her in 15 different shows before, and it never registered.

So I just made it to the beginning of season 3 of Cheers. Frasier's so young....thin...even compared to when Frasier started a decade later...

Feels like that clip had more after that cut off but I can't seem to find a longer version of it. I imagine it's just reading of the nominees and winner but still.

Freddie has a little part in "Death and Other Details" so is that a bad sign, or is only ten weeks of his year, maybe less, devoted to Frasier?
