No way.
PT stumbled over what Lucas thought people liked about Star Wars while giving bare bones characters who must become a certain way..I might disagree with the ST but I'm more in to THE ST as a story.
The prequel trilogy could have been amazing if Lucas found someone else to write his damn scripts (and directed the movies). The flaw is in execution. But structurally speaking, it's a solid idea for a character arc. Most importantly, Anakin's journey is very different from Luke's. He was trying to tell a Miltonian story about a decline into evil. It was just hamfisted and stupid in execution.
With the exception of The Last Jedi (which is a great 90-minute movie with another hour of unworkable scenes tacked on), the ST is creatively bankrupt, relying on nostalgia porn for things we liked about the OT. Worse is that it essentially destroyed the OT's meaning as a story, since it implies that all of the victories against the empire were completely hollow, and everything just became shit again.
Regardless, in general I give more credit to something which aims high and makes big fuckups than something which shoots for mediocrity. Which is why I can say even though I don't enjoy the PT (I even think Revenge of the Sith is a bad movie), I do respect what Lucas was attempting.
