This won't be popular... but the only thing really wrong with "These Are the Voyages" was the fact that it was the series finale. Set in 2155 and the middle of Season 4 or 5, it would be an innovative way to slip Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis into another Trek.

I guess "Chosen Realm" is marginally more tolerable than the rest of these. There's the tiniest kernel of an interesting premise here, whereas the others have nothing.

These Are The Voyages is the abomination to end all abominations. Extinction literally makes me cringe because it is so painful to watch. Shockwaves 1 and 2 and Storm Front are merely mediocre. I will reluctantly vote for Chosen Realm as the least awful of the bunch.

And I'll finally eliminate Chosen Realm, for the same reasons as before.

In a two-for-one, I'll vote for Shockwave next. As I said earlier, TCW is a bit of a dumb concept unless it had a proper plan, which the producers admitted there wasn't one for. At least with Shockwave (or when I first watched it at least), it felt like a good cliffhanger.

I HATE the Temporal Cold War (if there was only one thing I would excise from the franchise, it would be this) and the finale.

Voting for "EXTINCTION" solely because it isn't either of the above. (Though this is a terrible episode. At least it had Roger Cross guest starring.)

* Phlox had returned to his extended family on Denobula.
* T'Pol was a captain on her own ship. Her relationship with Trip suffered because it was long distance, which never goes well.
* Hoshi was back on Earth developing the universal translator.
* Mayweather was a commander at least. Seriously, that guy was the most competent person on the NX-01. He might not be in Data or Harry's class in terms of deserving a promotion, but he was up there.

Riker just added circa 2155 versions of them to his holosimulation because they were present at the most pivotal part of Archer's mission. Hence, no beards, gray hair, changed hairstyles, etc.

"Extinction." Though I do consider the Xindi arc overrated, as serialized stories go, it is CLEARLY superior to the Temporal Cold War. (Probably the weakest aspects of the Xindi story are it's unfortunate TCW tie-ins)
