OK, are we EVER going to have an episode that does not specifically reference Cheers / OG Frasier?
"Third one he just got left at the altar." Hello, Diane!I don't recall seeing any "specific reference" to Cheers/OG Frasier in the latest episode unless you are counting the vague reminder of his failed marriage to Lilith?![]()
"Normal human being."Freddy occupies the space left behind by Martin.
He shares a bit of his father's unctuous hypercompetitveness."Normal human being."
I'll go to my grave thinking a "Fraiser and Lilith" show could be the greatest thing ever.Best episode of the season! I laughed a lot. The writing was on point. Every joke landed. Every scene worked. The banter was witty and smart. All the characters had great comedic timing. Frasier and Lilith were the stars of course. But I think Allen steals the show.
I loved the recurring gag of Lilith not remembering Allen. I laughed out loud when Allen shows up in the white suit and white fedora to try to jog her memory. They keep making jokes about the white suit and Lilith gets the best line: "are you going to invite us to Jurassic Park?" LOL. Lilith was great in the episode. She had that same dry wit. Loved everyone being very submissive to her, even the owner of the bowling alley.
And then the last scene with Frasier and Lilith in Freddy's room was quite touching when they got serious for a bit and talked about their bickering. And then the episode ends on another funny moment when Freddy and the girl walk in on Frasier and Lilith making out on his bed. LOL. The post credit scene with Allen in the white suit and black cat like a Bond villain was also great. What a great episode!
I didn't notice it at first, since I'm not sure I watched the Bond movie, but Alan & cat are in reverse colors to Blofeld and his cat, at least in FRWL.
