Beckett Mariner was a 1st year student, assuming she's 18 y/o in 2368.
S4 of Lower Decks takes place in 2383
That should make Beckett Mariner 33 y/o.

So apparently Captain Carol Freeman was in command of the USS Passaro at some point, why else would her command access codes be in it.
But somehow, the ship ended up lost/missing?
Also, Nova Fleet somehow attained posession of it!
How the eff do you lose an entire SteamRunner class StarShip.
And Mariner manipulating command access code privileges by using her mom's credentials and using her ID biometrics / info / passphrase.

I'm a current college student (returning) and I never noticed beforehow ridiculously empty the Academy seems to be. You'd think it would be swarmed with people given it feeds the primary military body of an interstellar alliance of worlds where it seems officers outnumber enlisted.
Presumably it's only one campus.

This does open up a huge can of gagh. Habitable worlds are just one detonation away. For a price. How much for just the planet?
