People wearing glasses is as old as Star Trek.

You literally had to go back to the 60's to prove your point. This invalidates your point. I never said that "no one has ever worn glasses on Star Trek". I said "People don't wear glasses on Star Trek"... and they DON'T. They also don't sport cochlear implants, or braces. Because it is the FUTURE. (Have you even watched Star Trek?)

I don't understand this? You aren't making sense. Are you okay? You are making everyone riled up

There is incontrovertible evidence people DO wear eyeglasses on Star Trek, regardless of your weak attempt to twist events to the contrary. But do keep trolling. It's mildly amusing.

Another hill it seems you wish to die on.
Cause apparently you, haven't watched Star Trek.

BTW: Geordi LaForges' VISOR, is a future form of glasses for the blind.

I will give him a point, sort of in that while some wear glasses it's not the norm. Kirk only had to because he was allergic to something people take to not need them. But in the end this sort of goes into the why are their still bald people in Trek when you would think future medicine would solve that problem.

This is a case though where I wish they hadn't established future tech and medicine to be so advanced. I like seeing people wearing glasses. I know when I watch Stargate I always like it better when Daniel is wearing them than when he isn't. Not to mention I think they are sexy. So I am fine in going with the idea that anytime we see a human wearing glasses he or she must just be allergic like Kirk or they like it as a fashion choice.

Future medicine is obviously optional.

Geordi didn't want to have his eyes repaired by Dr. Pulaski even though she indicated it was not a complicated procedure.

Leeches are still used today, and some put maggots on wounds today. I'm fine with people wearing eyeglasses in the 23rd.

That's true but when Pulaski offered I think the implants was still new and experimental. Advances must have been made by the time "First Contact" happened. Speaking of which I always wish we would have seen at lest a few other people, even if it is a background extra also wearing a visor. I really like how you have a young women on "Lower Decks" that wears a visor. Be nice if they have her something to do.
