And to add to that earlier discussion about 10s on the Trekbbs. I'm surprised this one is Rating so Low on IMDB.

Currently sitting at 6.6.

Thousands voted for Those Old Scientists to a 9.2, and that episode had it's fair share of cringe as well.

Understandably, the crew singing and dancing to this type of music, may not work for everyone.


I'll still keep this voted at a 10 on here, for the sake of our usual hyperbole on here.

If not Klingon opera, those guys should have been throwing down some riffs to compare with Metallica or AC/DC.

The opening credits were good but would have been even better if it was loads of amateur fans doing the "awawawawawaa" from TOS.

Not Klingon Opera. I was expecting heavy metal. Something really over the top.

I was looking forward to this episode, but was underwhelmed. It was no Buffy; Once More With Feeling, which I still play on the car to this day. Good concept. Nice K’tinga ships. Liked the Roger Kirby and Carol Marcus name drops. 4/10, my lowest SNW score to date.

There are indeed a lot of 1s. However, there are also a lot of 10s.

Both pretty extreme and polarizing reactions. Still early though, usually thousands vote on here. However it's likely to stay around this range.

I really wish there was more variety to the musical styles. It was very samey a lot of the time.
And I hope that we can now finally set Jim Kirk aside. Enough already.

Not surprising. This was going to be one of those polarizing, 'love it or hate it' episodes. I'm a bit indifferent to it, but it was artfully done and not complete nonsense.

Strange New Worlds has been swinging for the fences this season, and they’ve been nailing home runs almost every time.

I’m pretty hit or miss on musicals, but I had a huge grin on my face through this entire thing. I rarely use the word “joyous” to describe Trek, but this episode was absolutely joyous.
