Loki's new Season 2 trailer has my interest piqued. Season 1 remains my favorite Disney+ season of any Marvel series and I'm really looking forward to how the Sacred Timeline gets fixed - assuming it even does in the conventional sense.
Like I said, a lie.I think the whole point of season 1 was that the "Sacred Timeline" was really just propaganda for He Who Remains' attempts to preserve his own existence. There was nothing actually sacred or superior about it compared to other timelines. Nothing needs to be fixed; on the contrary, the existing system was broken because every alternate timeline got nipped in the bud, and now the multiverse has been set free to ramify naturally. Which led to all the multiverse-themed productions we've seen in the past few years (since of course a change to the shape of time could have taken effect in the distant past; indeed, there's no real way to define when Loki takes place relative to our timeline).
I would only be mildly surprised if the end of season 2 of Loki has been altered in post to write Kang out, Poochie style.
Heard rumours that Jack Quaid will be playing Johnny Storm in the FF movie? Well, you can discount them https://twitter.com/jackquaid92/status/1687182388491599872?s=46&t=4gRLv-uovddel5zbS4TQ9g
It's like that bag when playing scrabble..... You pull out two tiles and think 'what name can I come up with with these two letters?'Toss him on the pile with all the others.
Why do people pay attention to these nobodies on the internet who claim to have casting scoops which never turn out to be right?
.
The same clown is now claiming that it’s another fan fave this time. No, honestly, this time he’s right, honest, would he lie to us?!Toss him on the pile with all the others.

Also have people forgotten that they're not casting anyone in any (studio) movies now anyway.
I never heard that rumor. The rumor I heard is that Sue Storm will be the central point of view character and that they will be casting around her. This does make sense in that the Fantastic Four is not your typical superhero team. They are a superhero family. And while Reed always lead the team in the field, the family aspect is all about Sue. Casting rumor that goes with this states that Vanessa Kirby of The Crown is being considered for Sue and Joseph Quinn from Stranger Things is being considered as Johnny.Heard rumours that Jack Quaid will be playing Johnny Storm in the FF movie? Kang is such a major Marvel character, and so important to their future plans, that it would make more sense just to recast him, as they've done with Bruce Banner, Jim Rhodes, Thunderbolt Ross, and others.
Honestly, he's only been in two properties and I feel like he's overused. The problem with Kang is that he's a major Avengers villain but he's not that interesting of a character, particularly as Marvel has been treating him. The Kang of the comics is fundamentally goofy and is a critique of a lot of colonialist tropes. He's a guy from a Utopian future who got bored of it and wants to go slumming with us "primitives." He's a very good Star Trek villain in some respects as he'd be the guy who goes to a world and takes over with his superior technology so he can pretend to be a Pharaoh or whatever.
He's fundamentally a petty dick.
The one in the MCU is obsessed with stopping himself and is either far more powerful than Eternity (destroying universes left and right) or a guy Ant Man can beat in a fist fight.
He's not even as compelling as crazy environmentalist Thanos.
Recasting Rhodes was an improvement?
That's definitely fair. And I admittedly have a bias since I've never liked Howard in anything.I think it's an unfair comparison. Howard did a great job in Iron Man, but Cheadle did as well in the sequel. The thing is, he now IS Rhodey, after so many movies. So it's hard to imagine anyone else in the role now. I will always be curious what Howard would have done if he stayed on, but I'm really happy with what Cheadle did so I'm good with what we got.
I don't actively dislike Howard's performance, but I do think Cheadle is much more credible in the role of a USAF Colonel. His no nonsense attitude works way better as a compliment to Tony's wildly erratic pinwheeling. Howard's Rhodey felt too laid back by comparison. That's definitely fair. And I admittedly have a bias since I've never liked Howard in anything.
