How did I forget that. That and the Disco uniforms had pips within the chest insignia badge to represent rank.
Why would SNW refer to itself like that?i was really hoping it was a holodeck episode oh well as long they don't reference the visual update or anything in snw as something ''abnormal'' it'll be okay

The current IDW comic book has characters referring to Pike's Enterprise as "how it looked before the refit for Kirk's mission"Why would SNW refer to itself like that?
Yeah but that's not written by the show writers. The current IDW comic book has characters referring to Pike's Enterprise as "how it looked before the refit for Kirk's mission"
My only question is...why would Boimler poke Pike to see if he's a hologram and deduce that he isn't because he's solid? Since when do holograms in the 24th century not pass as solid objects?
I assumed he thought he was a hallucination because the holodeck didn't turn off.My only question is...why would Boimler poke Pike to see if he's a hologram and deduce that he isn't because he's solid? Since when do holograms in the 24th century not pass as solid objects?

I never claimed that IDW comics were canon (although you might want to check with the writer who apparently has been going around conventions claiming as such: https://redshirtsalwaysdie.com/2022...mics-starting-with-an-homage-to-the-watchmen/ )Unlike Star Wars, the books and comics are not considered canon nor are the showrunners/writers required to consult with them first.
Screen Trek, be it movies or small screen, always is the only thing that is held fairly firm
We saw that in the season trailer: "You... also... live, and..."I bet Boimler is going to totally geek out when he sees Spock.
Boimler's part Illyrian??That little thing with Una was interesting. I’m gonna call it now…Una is Great, Great, Great Granny Boimler.

But that doesn't mean that the tv shows can't ever use any idea from the comics ever again. Yeesh, talk about taking my comments out of context.
I had the same thought. That little thing with Una was interesting. I’m gonna call it now…Una is Great, Great, Great Granny Boimler.
Sounds like it was written by a Memory Alpha contributor.Yeah but that's not written by the show writers.
It’s a fun sight gag that most people will getMy only question is...why would Boimler poke Pike to see if he's a hologram and deduce that he isn't because he's solid? Since when do holograms in the 24th century not pass as solid objects?
