I am so hyped for this episode. I think it is going to be a ton of fun. I enjoy Lower Decks a lot. Seeing Boimler and Mariner in live action is going to be great. By the way, did they say if the episode is going to be all live action or is it going to mix live action and animation?
Whatever the hell happens, I hope the Department of Temporal Investigations looks the other way.

Anson Mount implied we'd see an animated Pike.
I thought it was weird at first that they recognized him as an ensign considering the different rank insignia, but then I remembered that Starfleet used pips in the 22nd century so whatever.

That's what I am hoping for! Including Mariner and Boimler in TAS form. It would be so funny. And it would probably be cheaper, since it was like 2 frames per second.
I bet Boimler is going to totally geek out when he sees Spock.

Yeah. It's entirely possible he had seen him in person, or knows someone who has met him. But we know nothing about about Ortegas or La'an as they were created for this series, but it might be gimmicky, but I'd have one of them go "Oh, my god. You're Erika Ortegas! I can't even".

On a side note, Piotr Michael who voices Ambassador Spock in the recent Star Trek: Resurgence video game has a performance that pretty much sounds almost exactly like Leonard Nimoy. If they want to put Ambassador Spock into Lower Decks, he's the guy they should go to.
That and the Disco uniforms had pips within the chest insignia badge to represent rank.
i was really hoping it was a holodeck episode oh well as long they don't reference the visual update or anything in snw as something ''abnormal'' it'll be okay
