That one also showed that the Kaylar were made by the government before reforms towards peace, like the Angosian supersoldiers in TNG The Hunted, and the matte painting building is the Zemtar fortress... perhaps some of this will be canonized :D

I did expect them to go back to The Cage, but this is meta :D

Still watching but I feel like this would have been a better 45 minute episode. That scene with Pike and LUQ talking before they enter the palace felt like it dragged a lot longer than it should.

My summary of this episode... who thought it's a good idea to fill it with ever recurring annoying ringing sounds that drag on and on :ack:
Never watching those scenes again with sound turned on :shifty:

But hm, the scenery was ok, and La'an looked much better than ever.

This is my least favorite episode of the series. It really needed to be shorter because it was repetitive and it dragged. Also the whole memory resolution seemed too magic for my tastes. I thought last weeks episode was not up to par but this episode was extremely disappointing. Also if this is the Ortegas episode of the season Navia should walk out. She deserved better.

So, an episode that wants you to think about your own memories and what they mean to you.
What we consider important to carry with us internally on our journey through life.

Deep ...

Not one I'm sure that's going to be enjoyed by many, but true to the spirit of TOS.

An episode that makes one think about the importance of memory and loss.
Also, the importance of inherent abilities we all have and use on a daily basis, both something Gene would probably be all over.

I gave it an 8. (crap I screwed up and clicked on 7)
Mostly for the cool ship scenes and Ortegas' fantastic flying skills.
Plus her being the only one on the ship to confront her fears and overcome the 'forgetting'.
:techman:

I'm trying to figure out where I would put it... better than The Fight, but worse than Threshold. Perhaps similar to Shades of Grey... All of Disco was better too :D
