There are species in Star Trek that live short of long lifespans when compared to humans.
I wonder, in order to make thing "equal" and "fair", might different species feel the passage of time differently?
Comparing the lifespan of Ocampa and Vulcans doesn't seem fair, less than 10 years compared to 200 or so years like in the case on Sarek.
Might a year for example feel shorter or longer depending on the species?
Has this ever been talked about, I don't remember....
