No Way Home is easily the best Spider-Man film since Spider-Man 2, its far from "gutless fanservice". I'm tired about people that whine about fanservice, fanservice is great, it should be readily embraced literally whenever possible. The fact that No Way Home uses it basically perfectly, while also being the only good MCU Spider-Man film is just even more impressive.
As for The Flash, its a very low bar to be one of the few good DCEU related films, but a tolerable story can easily be made a classic with stuff like Keaton's Batman.
It was gutless fanservice, and Spider-Man 2 has tons of flaws that the fans ignore time and time again because of the nostalgia factor like Otto's entire character being nonsensical and the "Peter loses his power" subplot.
Take out Andrew and Tobey, the whole movie would be seen as the nonsense it is.
