Wow, such a great show with so many bad relationships!

My gut reaction was "Worf and Dax, of course!" But then I remembered Kira/Odo, which, while also lousy as a romance, had the added effect of destroying arguably all of Trekdom's best platonic male-female friendship (and was also disliked by both actors involved.)

And, while less significant, Leeta/Rom was deeply irritating and (true to much of Ferengi-related "comedy"), largely insufferable.

Of course, Kira/Bareil wins the award for "least chemistry in the galaxy."

Wow, for such a great show overall, they sure dropped the ball in the relationship department. Again and again!

1. Anything that was happening in "Fascination"

2. Anything in the Mirror Universe.

3. Kira/Shakaar - Bareil was just boring, but there's something kind of weird and unsettling about these two together. Doesn't help that when Kira talks about him a lot of the time he sounds more like a father figure than a romantic interest.

4. Garak/Ziyal - For the most part they don't even seem to like one another that much until they very suddenly do.

5. Worf/Jadzia - Although I don't necessarily want them to get back together the way they killed off K'Ehleyr sucked, and she and Worf had great flirtatious banter that the Dax stuff felt like a poor imitation of.

6. Bashir/Dax - After successfully walking back the GRIM attempts at Julian's flirting with Dax in the earlier seasons they give it a round 2 instead of committing him to his boyfriend Garak, or his other boyfriend Miles.

7. Winn/Dukat - hard to untie this one from the Dukat Finds Religion plot. I think it works insofar as it's supposed to be weird and bad, but doesn't work for me because the whole Dukat Finds Religion thing doesn't work for me.

Everyone else I don't remember, is just boring, or is fine. Outside of "Fascination" being a weird everyone is horny because space magic plot I actually even kind of like the Lwaxana/Odo stuff if only because it's the only time other than "Dark Page" where she isn't atrocious.
