I think the title is misleading. Terry Matalas probably never liked that Picard surrendered in "Encounter at Farpoint", setting off TOS Only Fans for years to come. So he'll have Picard not surrender. It's possible this is an overcorrection. Picard is so determined not to surrender that someone dies. Vadic has her moment of, "And now to show that my intentions are sincere, I shall kill one of the prisoners." Keeps with the TOS Movie theme and adds a twist with Picard not surrendering coming with a price... just not the price of Jack. I don't think they'll kill him like they killed David. It'll be someone else. But it will serve as another critique of the TNG Movies. Picard can't act like Rambo Picard and think it'll be consequence-free.

Agreed. Spoilers shouldn't be allowed until 1 hour after the show drops. If someone wanders into the thread after that, that's their own fault.

Obviously the only way to avoid spoilers is to stay out of the thread marked "Spoliers". Coming into a spoiler thread before having watched the episode and getting spoiled, that's your own fault.

Hell, just stay out of the Picard forum altogether if you're on Trek BBS after the new episode is released and haven't for some reason seen it yet and are that bothered by spoilers.

The pic dropped right in the middle of the conversation about whether the episode had been uploaded yet, which is also what these threads are used for.
Just a little bit of consideration with it would have been nice.
I'm not saying the person was wrong for posting it, I'm simply pointing out that at that particular point, tagging it would have been the considerate thing to do.

The show drops at different times in different parts of the world, so that wouldn't quite work.
Is it really that hard to just stay out of a spoiler tagged thread?

What is frustrating is that "Adam" was already used last season by the Spinercore villian.
"Adam" would be the perfect name for Datalore as a new person.
