Oh for God sake..... sometimes this fandom really test me.

Yep. Yep indeed, HotRod. I find it no small coincidence that I have learned to enjoy, cultivate, and afford a damn good liquor bar before I got the nerve to join a Trek board.

They are all canon. They never were not. Continuity gets a little confusing, but eh. If it didnt people would find something else to replace that argument with.

Did anyone notice, they mentioned this was the OG Earth Spacedock as well. The one we saw in the Films also became a relic and was repurposed.

Yes! So we finally have an answer for how the Enterprise-D could fit through the doors of Spacedock - the TNG Spacedock is not the original Spacedock! It ended up here!

This D7/K'T'inga has Kronos One's paint scheme, I wonder if it is Kronos One

I think it is. And not to mention, there's an NX class refit with an engineering hull in the back of that shot!

You know, I almost hated seeing the New Jersey because I just knew it would reignite this asinine "RealConnie" debate. But that's on me that I let it annoy me so much. But no, I'm not gonna let that stupid debate ruin the joy I had at seeing all those old ships. I love the old look and I love the new look and they're both canon.

Some said it was especially the STD fans.
Who? When?

This is a nonstarter argument. Of course it happened. It's like Hamlet. Do people struggle with imagining Denmark when watching a stage play vs. a film or do they roll with the verisimilitude of the story presented?

There is no debate any longer. The TOS 60s connie is solidly back in canon. The New Jersey must have been the ship Picard mentioned to Scotty in relics. That means the interior is TOS to. Ah the debate is finally over.

I think maybe it's about certain people constantly saying that we'll never ever see the TOS designs again because it's (insert current year) and none of that would work with 'modern' audiences. But the same argument these 'changelings' always bring up, that the consistent appearances in TNG, DS9, and ENT were just brief eastereggs and would not work in a full show, still applies to this very brief appearance. Not that I agree with them, I'm part of the 'continuum', but this appearance is so much shorter than those others were.

That was always another starbase somewhere else

If the saucer section was there, then Seven's line about Voyager having gone further than any of the other relics wouldn't have worked since the Ent-D traveled over a billion light years compared to Voyager's 70,000.
Well in that case, Voyager travelled to the big bang, and onto a xmas tree! :D
