Ncuti Gatwa is the 15th Doctor

Gotta say, not the most subtle bit of allegory ever...

Finally!

You can see his outfit from the promo photos peeking out at the bottom. He was apparently shooting yesterday in a different outfit but no one got a photo.

So apparently next week they're returning to a bunch of places they've already shot at to film Ncuti's side of the scenes, which they'll then stitch together in editing. The person who was spotted on location in late January was just his stand in.

It can't have been they way they wanted his first two months shooting to go.

Most other TV series shoot as they're broadcasting, and there's absolutely no reason - other than 'BBC common practice' - why Doctor Who couldn't have done likewise and started filming much, much later this year, thus eliminating any scheduling conflicts.

Eh. Peter Cushing filmed all his scenes for Rogue One looking in from the great beyond. Honestly, actors these days, expecting people to like *be there* or some shit. Lucky to have a Tennis Ball. Tom Baker couldn’t even get a talking cabbage *and he really wanted one*

Fantasies about British television being produced on an overtime-heavy American schedule to one side, filming of the fourth series of Sex Education seems to have run longer than expected (at one point it was supposed to wrap in November), so they were pretty well stuck.
