The one or two decent OL guys were out today. Even when the best guys are in there, Fields still only has about 2 seconds to throw on average, so that's a bust. He's gonna get killed if he has to keep running all the time, no matter how good he is.

The planned QB runs are only to make up for the lack of protection. The WR core is iffy. The D is coming together somewhat. If we can manage to get the #2 pick, we need to trade that for as many other picks as possible.

I worry than David Montgomery is in his final rookie contract year. They let Jordan Howard walk after 2018 thinking they had someone just as good (I can't even remember who. They drafted Montgomery in 2019). Khalil Herbert is a great RB, but we really need both of these guys. The Bears are a run first team and never seem to get the point that they need 2 good RB's.

Something I never thought I’d say: the Cincinnati Bengals are the class of the AFC.

The era of paying running backs after their rookie contracts is largely over, outside of absolutely breakout, generational talents. They break down far too quickly, and Montgomery already has an injury history.

It still won't be as entertaining as the snow storm that arrived in Buffalo with about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

Agreed, this ain't gonna be your Daddie's Freezer Bowl. These kids today!!!, when I was young...;) The entire Ben-gals O-line went out in short-sleeves and freaked those surfer dudes totally out.
