NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

This has apparently been an ongoing struggle since the 40’s. In most cases, they would postpone the championship games until Monday, December 26, if the regulation season lasted that long. Of course, this was way before MNF.

Nowadays, they just force the teams to do it. God forbid it messes up their schedule or the League loses money over the scheduling goat-rope.

Rams are leading the Broncos 17-3 in the first quarter. Wilson has two interceptions. They can't get rid of Wilson but they can get rid of Hackett, and if Wilson is still awful next year under a new coaching staff, you have your answer.

Starting to wonder if Wilson is trying to get Hackett fired.

Hackett was hired with the idea that he'd be coaching Aaron Rodgers. He'll be gone next year but Wilson is also not the player he used to be.

I wonder which will end up being the bigger waste, Wilson or Watson? My hope is Watson still, and that it hangs over the Haslams for the rest of their miserable ownership and they eventually have to sell.

The fact that Tom Brady is having the worst year of his life professionally and personally while probably winning the division is hilarious to me.

Broncos fire Nathaniel Hackett.

What's management's thinking behind the firing so late in the season with only two games left? Why not finish out the season and fire Hackett then?

Edit to add - even though it's looking less and less likely that the Seahawks will make the playoffs, watching Russell Wilson and the Broncos implode has been the highlight of my season.

Yeah bad times can fall on anyone at any time. As much as I dislike Brady as a person, I wouldn’t wish such strife on him or anybody else. To wish such a thing is to invite a very unfavorable karmic backlash.

If it was up to me, Watson (and the Browns for delivering that silly ass contract) will be miserable failures for years to come. However, as a Texan fan, I do appreciate the picks they sent us. Not that the Texans can be trusted to use the picks well though. They haven't so far.

JJ Watt announces he's retiring at the end of the season.

Coaching the Broncos is so awful that defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero turned down the interim head coach job.

Tua Tagovailoa is back in concussion protocol.

Mike White gets the start against Seattle. Zach Wilson back to the bench.
