DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

I'd probably drop Cyborg for a new Martian Manhunter, the character fits the JL better anyway.
Both and and my husband (who is a HUGE fan of the character) would love to see MM in a JL movie.

Huge fan of both Supergirl and the Legion, but unfortunately not much of a fan of DC's direct-to-video animated movies, so will be giving this a pass. :(
I've enjoyed most of the DtV movies (some have definitely sucked). I rarely buy dvds anymore, so I'll watch this on HBO Max, but given that I have 2 LSH flight rings, I *will* watch it. :techman:

Do we get confirmation in the Zack Snyder JL movie itself that he is Martian Manhunter? I know I've seen references to how Snyder had wanted to do a reveal, but I don't know if he actually did.

As I recall, yes, he did reveal himself as MM.

99.9% certain he referred to himself as Martian Manhunter in the final scene.

*EDIT* Quick check on YT confirms.

I don't wanna speak for JD, but I think he might mean was there any confirmation that Swanwick was always Martian Manhunter. (apologies if I'm misreading that.) Obviously that's Zack's retroactive intention, but I don't think the film says either way apart from the obvious implication of having Harry Lennix voice MM.

I honestly couldn't answer that question, I don't recall. I have a vague memory that some people had a theory back during MoS and BvS that he was MM. But that could also be me completely misremembering things. I like the idea that he always MM, like in Supergirl. I have no knowledge of him in the comics, so I can't say if that is part of his backstory there.

Well, since the Snyder Cut isn't considered part of DCEU canon but is just its own standalone alternate version, I suppose it doesn't matter. As far as the canonical continuity is concerned, Swanwick is just Swanwick. As far as the Snyder Cut continuity is concerned, Swanwick is MM now, and whether he was before isn't relevant to the story. (Indeed, it's not like his inclusion is relevant to the story of JL anyway, since it's just a setup for a sequel that will never happen.)

I believe he was set up to be MM all along, but Snyder was avoiding an overt tease it until reaching the point of the real Justice League story, but once the reveal occurred, Swanwick's behavior and aid to Superman in MoS and BvS would become very clear.

No, I was just wondering if we got a scene in ZS JL where we saw Swanwick was MM, which I now see that we did.

Actually, in the Snyder cut it's Swanwick/Manhunter who triggers Lois to get back in the game by showing up shape-changed into the form of Martha.

Spidey- Hey Doctor Serizawa! You remember that really old movie with the walking thingies!

Serizawa- You're not serious?

*Spider-man webs up Godzilla's legs*
