In my contract my dealer was supposed to give me a set and they even booked the appointment for it, but they put "IF" a used set is available in writing while telling me not to worry one definitely would be.
Turns out they don't deal in used tires so I showed up and they were trying to sell me new.
I raised hell for an hour and left and sent them emails about it so I can lodge a complaint with the regulatory agency (have to have written attempts to come to an agreement) but after 5 full days they never responded. So it's not happening. I should just let it go because the regulatory agency won't do anything either because of the word "IF" but it fucking rankles me.
Of course there's a foot of snow around me now and I'm out of town with 1000 km of driving ahead of me before I can get them on from another garage now.

Technically speaking, it's the Friday after American Thanksgiving, so Friday, November 25 this year.
For some reason, all the stores in my area have decided it's now a three-week event, and started their "Black Friday" sales at the beginning of last week.

Picked up the pre-cooked Thanksgiving dinner my mom ordered from Publix. We're taking it easy this year. I also went to Hallmark and bought four ornaments- the Strange New Worlds Enterprise, the Holiday and Beautiful Ballerina Barbies, and a Disney World 50th anniversary castle.
I went to the Hallmark store on the weekend and bought 14 ornaments (insurance thing). They had the SNW ship and the mirror universe characters but I didn't get them. The ship seemed... flimsy. Reminded me of a TOS Enterprise I had where the nacelles broke off just sitting on its stand. Hopefully I was wrong and yours lasts a very long time!
The Enterprise seems to be pretty sturdy. It's very lightweight, though.
