David McCullen is still there and when was the last time we saw Ducky?

Fifth episode of this current season. Which was also one of his only two appearances this season.

I was surprised he didn't show up when Palmer and Kasie was close to death in the lab...

TVLine has an article up (with a plot description, episodes titles and a few minor spoilers) of the three-way crossover, now scheduled to air on January 2, 2023. It also includes a list of the guest characters from the other shows appearing in each episode. The order of the episodes will be the original series, followed by Hawai'i and concluding on L.A.

I imagine serving in the military gives a different point of view but I still find it highly amusing. My wife and I both enjoy it for what it is.

I haven't served in the military, but shows like JAG and NCIS, and such always inspire me to do deeper research on different organizations in to the military. And it's always less dramatic and more interesting than the show presents it. It makes it more fun.

Bugger that means I have to want L.A to see the end.

just never got into that show (and that's come from some-one who started with JAG then onto NCIS then N.O and now Hawa'ii)

And with Wilmer Valderama appearing in the Los Angeles part of this crossover, he becomes the first actor to appear on all four NCIS shows. He's already appeared twice on Hawai'i and appeared in the third season of New Orleans.
Los Angeles is definitely something of an acquired taste. I don't think I really started warming to it until the sixth season or so. I will say it is much better these days than it was in the early years.

I don't really keep up with any of the NCIS shows regularly these days, but I found Los Angeles particularly off-putting. It felt like the showrunner really wanted to do a CIA show instead of one about a military investigative service.

Los Angeles definitely seems to take the most liberties when it comes to jurisdiction and why NCIS is handling this particular case. Granted, all the NCIS shows are guilty of this to some degree, but on LA it feels like a regular occurrence. Particularly in previous years where they would often handle a case which should have belonged to the ATF or DEA just because Hetty owed someone a favor.

Both Los Angeles and New Orleans dropped by the wayside for me after the first few seasons. I had forgotten it was still even going.

My wife and I tried New Orleans when they did a crossover with NCIS. While I appreciate Bakula as an actor his character really grates on me for reasons I can't quite put down rationally. I like Zoe McLellan too but not quite enough.

So, the original is my preferred.

While I would also call the original my preferred, I will say, Hawai'i is definitely proving itself a worthy entry to the franchise. Barely halfway through the second season, and it already feels like an old favorite.

I like his work as Pride but somehow he can't seem to keep the accent consistent. His "Noo Awlins" drawl slips in and out at random moments.

As is my understanding, that's exactly what happened. Shane Brennan developed it as a separate spy(-ish) series, no one wanted it, so it got retooled into an NCIS spinoff.

There've been no casting announcements for NCIS Sydney yet, at least according to the IMDB page for the show. Beulah Koale's IMDB page also makes no mention of being on Sydney.

It's time for NCIS to close shop and let LA and HA carry on its legacy for a few more years. I really don't know how many more terrorist, drug smuggling, traitor, going to the middle East plots can be done. Even if HA makes East Asia its go to foreign locals, it's all been done before. Everything has been variations of the same stories.

I think the next big milestones for the original are 21 seasons and 500 episodes.

We're currently in S20 and at 441 eps.

Probably take another 2.5 seasons to hit 500 so If the plug gets pulled I expect it would be an announcement that S21 is the last.

    JAG
I really like JAG. Good series which I followed for many years. Not to mention that the series gave us the amazing NCIS.

    NCIS
Definitely my all-time favorite series. And it was for many years but not anymore.
I'm currently re-watching it from the beginning due to having the first 13 seasons on DVD. I'm amazed how incredible good the firts seasons were. The dialogue was sharp and the episodes very exciting. It lost some of that later on but was still great untin the disastrous season 18 when everything started to go wrong. I must also admit that I miss Kate even if I like Ziva too.
The series took a heavy blow when first Ziva, then Tony and then Abby left. But successors like Ellie and Torres were actually very good. But it all ended when first Jack, then Ellie and Gibbs left and were replaced with .....not so good characters. I don't watch it anymore.
Which is sad due to how long I liked it and that I don't follow any series anymore. They are all so bad now.
However, I do have seasons 1-13 on DVD and will buy seasons 14-17 too. In this way I can still watch this fantastic series when it was brilliant.

    NCIS Red
I never saw anything of it.

    NCIS Los Angeles

I watched it from the start. Good series with good characters but not as good as "original" NCIS.
However, the series took a turn to the worst when hetty left and was replaced by the horrible Mosley. I hate those "new boss coming in and starts screwing up for the team" scenarios.
When Nell and Eric left and was replaced by bad characters it was over for me. There are at least one of the nwe characters I simply can't stand.

    NCIS New Orleans
I liked it from the beginning. First of all because it was set in another town than New York or Los Angeles and also because of the interactoion between Pride, LaSalle and Brody. I liked Loretta and Sebastian too.
But I started to lose interest when Brody was dumped because of a stupid decision from a stupid boss and was replaced by a character I didn't like. later, when everything started to be about Prides brain ghosts and LaSalle left and was replaced by a weak character, then it was over for me.

    NCIS Hawai'i

I watched six episodes of this series when I decided to quit.
The characters are so uninteresting. They are all the same and the series looks like a bad copy of Hawaii 5-0.

    NCIS Sydney
I will check it out with some hope that it will be watchable.
But due to the low quality of all 2020's series, I have my doubts.

There's nothing to see besides a two-part episode in the fourth season of Los Angeles, which served as a backdoor pilot to a potential NCIS Red spinoff, but it was never picked up as a series.
