Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Would replicated meat be vegan? Technically no animals were harmed to make the meat that you're eating right now, but at one point the data for it probably did come from animals that were slaughtered.

OK so while browsing possible bargains I came across this which is obvious lies

I had to LOL at all the comments on facebook about this mini laptop because the same page is in their social feeds as advertising.

One or two people say they bought one of these. If I had the money to waste I would just to see how shit these are

"made in USA" suuuuuurrrrre it is, maybe the cardboard box it comes in IF you actually get anything like this after paying.

That's a nasty way to get an injury, on the plus side it's not a propeller.

We throw some food scraps in the front yard and get small groups of noisy minor birds and the odd white Ibis, used to see lots of them at the start of last year but few now. Anyway our regular guests come nearly every morning if there is food there or not.

I ran into some horseback riders on my bike ride this morning, and one of the horses came over all his own to say hi and get some pets, and I swear the woman riding him looked familiar. but I have no idea where I could have met her. I have to admit, I didn't get a real good look at her, because I was looking around a horse's face that was barely a foot or two away from mine, and up at kind of a weird angle since she was riding him, and she was wearing either a hat or helmet. I'm pretty sure wherever I know her from, it didn't involve the horse, because I'm pretty sure I would have remembered him. This was also in different neighborhood from where I usually run into horseback riders, and I had never run into any in this area before today. There was one other adult woman, a girl in her teens or twenties, and a couple young kids with her, but none of them looked familiar, although I didn't get much of a look at the other adult woman, since she was leading one of the kids' horses and was a little behind me, so I couldn't really see her.
I can only think of three possibilities for why the woman looked so familiar, she either worked or shopped at the Wal-Mart where I worked, she works at one of the other stores where we do our regular shopping, or she looked close enough to my age that we could have gone to school together. She didn't act like she knew me, so I'm not sure if she recognized me. Those are really the only places I've gone regularly enough to recognize people from.
I'm kind of hoping I run into her (and her horse, who was awesome) again sometime, so I can try to get another look at her and see if I can figure it out.
