I think it was said elsewhere that he's not a fan of multi-Doctor stories.
I only watched the 1st and last eps of Whittaker's first year and wasn't so keen on the show anymore. But, Tenant is my second fav Doc (after Pertwee) and I think the RTD years were pretty well done, so, I'm planning to watch this whole 3-ep "mini season" they've cooked up. Then I'll give the next guy a chance and we'll see...
This is where I am, I dipped with Matt Smith around his second series and Capaldi had some brilliant stuff but it was just too uneven, so I never even watched Whittaker.
I would love to see Burnham or Mariner meet The Doctor. I'm not sure if reality is ready for that kind of chaos! 
Carl, the mysterious time traveller in S3 of DISCO, could surely require little hand waving to be retconned into a renegade Time Lord, if anyone were so inclined!
Or a TARDIS.
While the actual Star Trek crossover is unlikely, I do hope we get the "Trek Lite" version of the episode RTD discussed in The Writer's Tale. Basically, the Doctor arrives on a starship which is very obviously "similar but legally distinct from" a Starfleet ship. But I guess even that might these days be considered too similar to The Orville.
Well, we did get that, albeit as a side piece, in "A Christmas Carol."
Well there's the USS Callister from Black Mirror and also of course Galaxy Quest.
Personally I'd rather RTD did a Blakes 7 crossover than a Trek one (and obviously modern Who has done some tenuously linked B7 stuff :The Futurekind in Utopia have that 'end of history what humans will become' vibe that the Links do in Terminal, and Live Chess in The Wedding of River Song seems to riff on Speed Chess from Gambit)
I know BF have the rights to produce Blakes 7 stuff but does anyone know if they have the full rights?
Yeah, same here. I would one solid exception for Trek and the comic crossover they did, but only because it's in the past and all. Beyond that, I would argue Blake's Seven is also a good fit. But aside Blake's Seven and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I wouldn't mesh it with much else either.
With the Disney+ thing, Baby Yoda's more likely to get a TARDIS trip than any Trek character.

Doctor Who/Sapphire and Steel crossover FTW.
As I understand it, they can only use elements of the first three seasons of B7, so there are definite limits. That said, Paul Darrow was allowed to write a post-Gauda Prime trilogy of novels, but based on the first one, the only one I've been able to bring myself to read, BF could always just claim that they're not really B7 novels. They show very little understanding of the show, its setting, its characters, basic science...
Pretty consistent with the show itself, then. Outside Blake and Avon, most of the main characters weren't consistently handled, the setting changed to meet the demands of the story quite often and as for basic science....
The problem with doing S4 material was they didn't have/couldn't get the rights to use Soolin and yes Darrow's post GP books were rather dire and you have to wonder how he could have so mis-understood things.
They should crossover with Red Dwarf, not only is it stylistically the closest but it would be worth it just for Rimmer's comments.
