Their use really adds that 'special something' that makes you believe it won't suck but even if it does you wont care because you already received more entertainment value than most trailers deliver.
I'd put Janet down as the coward (or more precisely, the one seeking courage) going by some of the dialogue. She clearly has some history down there she's less than proud of and didn't see fit to tell (or warn!) anyone about. Besides, Hank is clearly Toto.Hmmm....
So Hank is the coward, Scott needs a brain, Hope needs a heart, and Cassie just wants to go home.
Which leaves Janet as...
Marvel really wants us to forget about Black Adam!Between yesterday's epic use of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" in the Quantumania trailer and Kevin Bacon in this one I'm very happy with MCU's promotional efforts at the moment.![]()
I stand corrected! Much better pairings.I'd put Janet down as the coward (or more precisely, the one seeking courage) going by some of the dialogue. "Man or Muppet" is a brilliant song. I agree "Star Spangled Man" deserved to have been nominated also, but "Muppet" would still have gotten my vote. No, I'm serious. There were only 2 nominees that year, "Man or Muppet" and "Real in Rio" (Muppets won). Even if you don't personally enjoy the musical style, you have to admit it was skillfully written to match the period perfectly.
Although I am mildly disappointed they don't have him living on a farm like he does in real life. I mean come on, how fun would it be to see Drax and Mantis with a bunch of goats, pigs, llamas, ect.
Because pigs are good for a lot more than just food. Yes, I know the joke was about Kevin Bacon, but a pig person, I find bacon jokes highly disgusting, and they just piss me the hell off.
As long as we get some flying monkeys it's all good.Well if the trailer song choice wasn't a subtle enough hint, it's pretty clear the model of the story is 'Wizard of Oz'.
Sorry too, that was probably a bit of an overreaction, I should have calmed down a bit before I posted. I don't have pigs myself, but I follow some pig owners and pig sanctuaries on IG, and they're constantly getting people making jokes about how good the pigs would be as bacon, and when they post about them getting sick or anything like that, people start telling them they should just turn them into bacon, and things like that.Sorry -- I was just glad for the opportunity to make a Kevin Bacon pun that wasn't about degrees.![]()

Variety reports that William Jackson Harper (of The Good Place fame!) is in Quantumana...in a role that's a closely-guarded secret, which has led some to speculate that he might be Reed Richards (according to io9).

Chidi was one of my favorite characters on The Good Place, so this is great news. I can definitely see him being a fantastic (no pun intended) Reed Richards.Variety reports that William Jackson Harper (of The Good Place fame!) is in Quantumana...in a role that's a closely-guarded secret, which has led some to speculate that he might be Reed Richards (according to io9).
More great news.Looks like Paul Bettany isn’t done with the MCU yet https://deadline.com/2022/10/vision...on-spinoff-marvel-disney-plus-1235157055/amp/
