Their use really adds that 'special something' that makes you believe it won't suck but even if it does you wont care because you already received more entertainment value than most trailers deliver.

Hmmm....

So Hank is the coward, Scott needs a brain, Hope needs a heart, and Cassie just wants to go home.

Which leaves Janet as...
I'd put Janet down as the coward (or more precisely, the one seeking courage) going by some of the dialogue. She clearly has some history down there she's less than proud of and didn't see fit to tell (or warn!) anyone about. Besides, Hank is clearly Toto. ;)

The question that's bothering me is which one is Kang? The Wicked Witch, or the Wizard? At first I assumed he's the Wizard, but we know he's bound to be the main antagonist going forwards, so probably the witch.
I also wonder because when it comes to Marvel, there is a character with a giant head with an overblown ego who leaps to mind . . .

I stand corrected! Much better pairings.

As for Kang, I'd still make him the Wizard because they're both all about showmanship...even if the Wizard was just a harmless, empty suit.

The GotG Holiday Special looks like so much. I'm a big Kevin Bacon fan, so his involvement has me pretty excited. Although I am mildly disappointed they don't have him living on a farm like he does in real life. I mean come on, how fun would it be to see Drax and Mantis with a bunch of goats, pigs, llamas, ect.

No, I'm serious. There were only 2 nominees that year, "Man or Muppet" and "Real in Rio" (Muppets won). Even if you don't personally enjoy the musical style, you have to admit it was skillfully written to match the period perfectly.
"Man or Muppet" is a brilliant song. I agree "Star Spangled Man" deserved to have been nominated also, but "Muppet" would still have gotten my vote.

Because pigs are good for a lot more than just food. Yes, I know the joke was about Kevin Bacon, but a pig person, I find bacon jokes highly disgusting, and they just piss me the hell off.

Sorry -- I was just glad for the opportunity to make a Kevin Bacon pun that wasn't about degrees. ;)

Sorry too, that was probably a bit of an overreaction, I should have calmed down a bit before I posted. I don't have pigs myself, but I follow some pig owners and pig sanctuaries on IG, and they're constantly getting people making jokes about how good the pigs would be as bacon, and when they post about them getting sick or anything like that, people start telling them they should just turn them into bacon, and things like that.

Ooh, sorry. Didn't mean to hit a nerve.

Variety reports that William Jackson Harper (of The Good Place fame!) is in Quantumana...in a role that's a closely-guarded secret, which has led some to speculate that he might be Reed Richards (according to io9).

I know him from The Good Place and (afraid to admit it since it was WAY after my time) the foil in the newer Electric Company (with She-Hulk's Josh Seggara, too!)

And I've always liked him, this is a good fit that I wouldn't have really considered. I like it!

Reed-y Anagonye? Fork yeah! Harper's an excellent actor, and certainly good at playing an intellectual, empathetic hero, so he'd be a good choice for Reed, if that were indeed his role.

Chidi was one of my favorite characters on The Good Place, so this is great news. I can definitely see him being a fantastic (no pun intended) Reed Richards.
More great news.
