Spoilers The new (massive spoiler) ship!

It's not a question of who is right or wrong. It's about your posting style. More often than not you seem to speak in absolutes, when in fact you are only posting your opinion. Or you make outlandish comments like they chose Bakula for the part because they got the idea from you. At first I chalked it up to the opinion that English wasn't your first language and something got lost in the translation. I'm not so sure about that now.

I'm sure that isn't remotely the case.
So they stole your ideas without crediting you?
No, they didn't steal my ideals. I told them if they use my script, to not to credit me for it and I've gave Them permission to use anything they like in my script to use in future scripts of their own for free. I didn't want any credits at all. All I've wanted to see if they will except my script or not. Which they didn't except, they mail it back to me.
If you, and Dukhat and others have a disagree in a post that I've posted or don't believed what I've posted. Then just do what Tuskin38 said. Just ignore me when you see any of my post in the future. That what they do over Twitter, they ignore my tweets. as well. I'll do the same thing. I do what what I was told to do some years ago, just to ignore any one that quotes my post. All they're doing is attacking and making jokes about my post to make me unbelievable. . I will not quote anyone post in the future. Even if it is in agreement of what they had posted. That go for anywhere on Trekbbs. Beside this thread need to get back to what it was attended for.

Well, I believe that you're making most of that up. But who am I to argue with someone who makes stuff up on the internet? I'd have to argue with a million people in that regard.

They had a contest for anyone to pitch their Ideal for the next Star Trek Movie or Series several months ago. You had write your Ideal in script form, several pages long. The winner will get to meet with them. They will pay the winner hotel room and take take them out to dinner and pay for. Then they will take the winner to meet the big guy or woman that will give the green like if they like what was pitch for the next TV series or movie.
If you want to write a script? Write them and ask for their rules in writing a script. They will send you one, that if they still do.
I already write scripts. For (very) independent films. I have an IMDB Page. Roland Khorshidianzadeh - IMDb

I have ZERO interest in writing a script for Star Trek. Why? I'll tell you why. For one thing, I don't want my work compared to a dead guy's. For another thing, I don't want to be ripped apart by people whose only criteria for what's "good" is really "Is it something Rick Berman would've made?" Not only no, but HELL NO! Hell fucking no. I'll put it in the simplest terms I can: Fuck That.

The split neck is one of the reasons the Odyssey won the design the enterprise contest. It was new and unique.

The contest was a semi popularity contest. IIRC it was narrowed down to the top 10 or top 5 most voted then a committee chose the winner from there.

This is the design that allegedly got the most votes, but I don’t know what the vote split was between the top 10.

There were a lot of fan designs submitted that weren’t actually owned by the submitters. Thomas Marrone had recently joined a cryptic at that point actually volunteered his time to go through all the submissions and remove ones he recognized as being stolen, as he being a big ship nerd knew a lot of existing fan designs.

For the Aeroshuttle, and other support craft, Probably didn't use them because it was cost prohibitive to use it.
Have to build a new physical model to show a seperation/new shuttle, even cgi, and a new set for the shuttle interior.

As for the Oddesy, Its okay, the silhouette is a bit funky looking but, worse has been put up on screen, so I'll eventually like it!

I think of all the posters I've ever encountered, you could argue with a million people and still have time for coffee.

THAT is hideous. A lucky escape.

Actually, I quite liked that design, but as with all the submissions, it still didn't scream "Enterprise" to me. It would be fine as a background starship, but not as a hero ship.

As for the contest, I've mentioned in the past how poorly run it was, and how most people who put a lot of time and effort into their designs ended up pissed off that a simple pen drawing won (because the STO people were really just looking for an idea/starting point, not a completed CGI model, which was never once made clear in the contest. And the popular vote ended up being meaningless, because it wasn't a factor in which design won, which is beyond stupid. Why even have a popular vote if it doesn't determine who won?) The whole thing was FUBAR, but the saving grace was that the ship still wasn't canon since it was never shown on screen (and at the time, it didn't look like the prime universe was ever going to be shown again.)

That simple pen drawing still made it into the top voted, so a bunch of people liked it, and it's also a very popular design in the game as well. I feel like people who dislike it are in the minority.

Funny, I followed that contest very closely, and don't recall Ihle's drawing making it to the popular vote at all. It certainly wasn't in the top five finalist choices. I remember when Ihle posted here that he won the contest, and I had never even seen his design before.

Set for the interior wouldn't have been an issue for the aeroshuttle. It's supposed to be a modified runabout, so they could have easily used the runabout sets from DS9.

It looks like what you’d end up making if you were tasked with building a starship out of Lego and you were restricted to only use 1987 commonly available pieces from the Lego pirates line.

I actually built an Excelsior out of such pieces! Actually, it was right after STIII hit the theatres, so correct that to pre-1984 LEGO. As I recall, it looked surprisingly like the Titan-A.

Adam Ihle's original sketch had less of the beveled edges and felt more streamlined like the Galaxy Class. That's one of the things I hate about the Enterprise-E, it doesn't feel like the design builds on the TNG design aesthetic.
