Welcome to the voting thread for the 239th Trek BBS Fan Art Forum Challenge!


Our Theme for June was "Fun with FASA", and described as:

Fun with FASA
FASA came up with lots of technical manuals and source books in the time they held the license, including designs for many different ships and equipment, characters, and background info. Using this as a starting point, come up with your own twist, spin, redesign, homage, or expansion on something from the FASA catalog.

This month we were dared to delve into the deep reservoir of FASA's Star Trek extended universe. How many fell down that rabbit hole we may never know, but some brave souls managed to fight their way back to reality with the inspiration to create Trek Art for you all to enjoy.

Now, it is up to you to vote for you favourite and help choose winner of this month's challenge, who will earn our utmost respect and the honour of wearing the golden “Fan Art Challenge Winner” badge on their profile for the following month.

Went with a redesign of the Scorpio class corvette.

Spoiler: Entry details

Movie-era design, approximately the same length as a Danube class runabout. Armament befitting a corvette, with phaser cannons in the wing root, and a single large torpedo launcher on the dorsal hump. Small warp nacelles embedded in the wings for short quick hops for system defense, but large overpowered impulse engines for maneuverability. What looks like a cruciform tail is an early warning sensor suite.

Spruced up the Tactical/Battle Armor from FASA's TNG Officer's Manual taking some inspiration from SNW and Disco designs.
