Exactly. I loathed his gawking at his own home runs...and often hit singles that could've easily been doubles or even triples if he hadn't been too busy gawking at himself. He was doing that shit long before he started juicing up, too.

I didn't say anything about his attitude towards the press. I'm talking about his ego on the field. I don't give a fuck how good you are at the game if your attitude on the field is shit.

Royals were only the 5th worst team this year. They didn't even reach the 100 loss plateau.

Stupid Cubs won 12 out of their last 15. Where was this when it mattered?

 

OK, so the WC games are 3 game series', with all 3 games at the better team's park?

Then what, 5 game or 7 game DS?

Standing by for the rant...

 

There are too many teams in the playoffs but it's better than the one game series. I had the displeasure of attending the first ever Wild Card game with the infield fly and the trash.

 

I remember that game. Couldn't believe the ump called infield fly even though 1) the Cardinals outfielders had to run to catch it and 2) they did not in fact catch it!

The ump wasn't Angel Hernandez, was it?

As for Barry Bonds: He didn't play in the AL, so what the hell do I care?
