So who the hell is playing QB for New England?

Billy Zappe?

Assuming Geno Smith is for real, will teams become not as quick to dismiss QBs that don't work out the first time?

Football is stupid.

:scream:

Seriously, we can’t run the ball. That’s the central problem. The days of Dickerson, Bettis, Faulk are long gone.

After last week I didn't think the 49ers had a shot tonight. I guess practice does the body good because the 49ers were dominant in all aspects of the game.

How many times could they have tackled Deebo on that TD? Looked like a severe case of Chicago Bear-itis. Then your D guys are fighting with each other.....

Yeah it was a bad night for sure. Defense only gave up 17 points which isn't bad, but we had to settle for field goals 3 times because we can't fucking run the ball AT ALL :scream:

Stafford is being asked to do too much behind a patchwork O-line, without Jefferson or Beckham.

A miserable night, no doubt.

Poor Kenny Pickett, first start is going to be in Buffalo this weekend.

Lions stop Seahawks on third down to force a punt, but the officials say the play didn't count because of a clock problem. Next play, Seahawks run for a long touchdown. Fans are chanting "Bullshit!"

Well it was. Yes, its on them to stop him, but they had run the play and shown their hand.

After two games with the Bucs, Cole Beasley is retiring.

Blake Bortles also says he's been retired but never announced it.

I thought there was a federal law passed a while back that, if someone is injured during the commission of a crime (in this case trespassing, public nuisance, etc.), they may not sue the victim of said crime(s). IIRC, this came out of a rash of situations where people breaking into other people's houses, getting injured within that environment in the process of committing a crime (tripping over a table in the dark, falling through a floor, cutting themselves on window glass or wood splinters, etc.), sued the homeowners they were burglarizing for said injury. I remember a LOT of these kinds of idiotic lawsuits happening back in the 90's and 00's, but then went fairly quiet.

Then again, maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, as such a law would be way too useful and meaningful to pass through congress.

Maybe there's small print on the ticket relating to doing stupid shit in the course of a game and having no recourse if you have to be tackled, etc. It's happened before and I don't remember hearing about a lawsuit.

It's fourth and one with just over two minutes left in overtime, you're on the five yard line, you're down 12-9 and you decide to shotgun?! WTF?!
