If the Ben-gals had lost again I was going to respectfully ask for a thread title change: Joe Gets Burrow-ed...Again :brickwall:

Whew.

Great defensive game plan by my Rams today. Kyler Murray held to something like 8 yards rushing, and the Cardinals never saw the end zone.

Offense still needs work. Fucking Cam Akers!

:scream:

The Texans are in trouble. Two of their normal four yearly wins have been coming from Jacksonville, who has suddenly remembered how to play football.

Why do I do this to myself?

Poor Mills really deuced the futon on that last drive against Da Bears.

The Texans are just a sad team with bad ownership. The Texans were fixing to get themselves in trouble with the league over HC hiring practices, and suddenly Lovie Smith was promoted. We're on our 3rd head coach in as many years an nothing's changed. The only bright spot I've seen is Caserio does seem to have a better knack at the draft that our previous GMs did.

I'm done with Kyle Shanahan. He rode Lance into the ground, and whatever the playcalling was last night was atrocious. Also, Jimmy is no savior and that stepping out of bounds in the end zone was embarrassing. Considering all the injuries (And last night Trent Williams was the next to go down), I don't want Shanahan anywhere near Lance's development.

So........ not much of a change then. Except not the "flag" football the regular season is thanks to overzealous refereeing, but the kind of "flag football" the NFL is turning into.

I mean it can't be any worse.

But football just doesn't have its own equivalent to the dunk comp or HR derby. The only thing that ever came close was that QB thing that was really popular in the 90s.

Giants WR Sterling Shepard out for the season with torn ACL.

Chargers OT Rashawn Slater also out for the season with a torn biceps tendon.

George Fant becomes the Jets' third OT to go on IL.

Welp, Josh McDanirls so far, is proving that he is still Josh McDaniels. But I blame Mark Davis, who for some strange reason, thinks he somehow inherited his father’s ability to recognize HC talent. Mark even has staff referring to him as “Mr. Dacis,” which in Raiders lore is as much a title as it is a name. Mark has eadned not earned nsither.

I fear that until Mark faces the fact that he doesn’t know his ass from a hole in in the ground when it comes to football, Raiders fans are ” Dw
“Detroit Lions” screwed.
