Guys . . . guys . . . could we maybe just not for once make an entire discussion about how the one clearly deliberately contrarian person is wrong and should be patiently indulged with logical arguments despite their continued intransigence? I mean just for the novelty factor. Give it a try! ;)
Yeah, it's definitely turning into one of "those" threads . . .

Yeah, there are certain people that like to make threads all about themselves. There's one example in particular that has been doing a really good job of not doing that lately, but now it seems we have a replacement thread stealer.

Sorry...i came in late, so i still want to be heard.

I haven't noticed @Dee1891 before, so i don't mind giving them my answer.

I can see the aspect of what seems to be racism...where a lot of black characters aren't getting a solo project (at least not for quite a while): such as Rhodey (though Armor Wars in eventually coming)

But what also seems to be another pattern is that each "title hero" needs to finish before fully passing on the mantle. So Catain America for example.....Steve needed to be out for Sam to be in. Or Tony to die, so that now we will get War Machine + Ironheart.

With the Marvels, Brie Larson hasn't phased out yet....but MArvels can set that up. Ms Marvel is a variation but NOT taking over the mantle... just an inspiration to Kamala (kinda a MCU equivelent of a generation of kids who have literally grown up with the Marvel Superheroes). Also, Kamala would be for TV while Captain Marvel is for the movies.

And like another said... your "boycott" is pretty meaningless, because there will be at least 2-3 others who will take your place. Just like the vaccine fundementalist who will be disappointed that Black Panther 2 will probably do better domestically than the first.

That might mean something to some people if the so-called 'principles' in this case made any sense whatsoever.

I would genuinely love to overhear those conversations, with friends, co-workers, strangers on the bus. It would be amazing.

Exactly, considering he's the one introducing a version of Kang in Quantumania

There's another yet-to-be-announced animated series coming if this Facebook post from animator Brian Kesinger is to believed:

*EXCITING NEWS* I can’t believe I actually get to say this but this fall I will be directing a new animated series at marvel studios! I can’t share any more details yet because the project hasn’t been announced but I can say it’s VERY cool! Thanks to everyone who has supported me on my artistic journey. Excelsior! #marvel #mcu #animation #newjob

There is one point in the comments I can understand ... that without the super serum, Sam is just another guy. I wonder if they will address that in the movie?

Just another guy. A highly trained military para-rescue, with a state of the art flight suit, a shield that can effectively block anything on earth and a Wakandan made (and thus probably vibranium) uniform. Who spent years fighting and training alongside Steve Rogers. But sure, just another guy.

No, he isn't super strong. But neither was Natasha, and quite frankly Sam comes out the better in that comparison with all his equipment factored in.

Also, if you (or, perhaps more accurately, the commenters in question) think that what made Captain America had anything to do with Steve's super strength, you (or they) weren't paying attention. What made Steve Great was the man he was, not the power in his body.
