Spoilers She-Hulk: Attorney at Law discussion thread

I had been assuming Titania was going to be our one and only Big Bad, but after the last trailer I'm wondering if there's going to be a second introduced in the second half of the season. From the trailer it looks like the scale of the story and action are going to get lot bigger, and from what we've seen of her so far, that doesn't really seem to fit with Titania.

Echo isn't going to be set in New York. From what I understand she is going to leave NY for her another state or hometown or something.

I'm holding out for the Avangers.

So, I'm still a little confused about DD in LA. Has the character ever been in LA in any of the comics or movies?

Why not introduce him in the Echo series, since that one should actually be in NY?
I'll give the shirt makers credit for getting the Thor's hair right for a mythological version.

I don't follow enough DD to say but I do hope it's more than a fitting. I liked the character but he'd be like Dennis, OK in very small doses like the first two episodes.

Why not just wait till next week and find out?
And if there isn’t an answer then start complaining..

OK, I haven't heard one way or the other. But if the Kingpin will continue to be involved, we know he's NYC based as much as DD is.

Either way, LA is a bit of a stretch.

No, no, I'm getting a head start on complaining. Never put off till tomorrow, etc, etc.

I'm still suspicious of Todd perhaps being the boss of the Crew. He turned out to be a major client of the firm. I wonder if he might have applied for their services to get closer to She-Hulk? Or they could just reveal him as a minor villain, the Red Herring.

I feel bad for Melvin. Until now, Matt had been going to him exclusively for Daredevil attire needs and now Luke has stolen Melvin's business. :(

On a serious note, I like possible suggestion that we're getting the golden Daredevil costume now is that, for whatever reason, Matt needs to do street business in Los Angeles for an extended period and he needed something more appropriate for the region (not just fashion but also climate).

As for the rest of the episode, I'm glad Titania's name grabbing issue was quickly resolved (even if painfully so for Jen) while setting her up rivalry against She-Hulk for the remainder of the season.

Is Wongers a member of The Avongers?
He damn well better be!

Going by the 'what are you looking for in a partner' requirement Jen wrote as She-Hulk, I wonder if she makes anyone sign a waiver in the event of death by snu-snu.

Humor aside, I wonder if Jen will ever notice how different she acts as She-Hulk. I get the feeling Jen doesn't notice sort of like how folks don't notice how drunk they really are after a couple of drinks. She-Hulk is all confidence but she doesn't seem as canny a lawyer as when she is Jen. She seems to think more clearly as Jen but while with much more confidence as She-Hulk she's not nearly as canny as her human self.

Jen's strong confidence with people only seems to come out with family and close friends but She-Hulk doesn't have those inhibition filters with strangers as we saw with the different profiles. It was funny when She-Hulk said the number of matches had to be embarrassing for Jen but I wonder if that was an intentional show of a real difference between the two halves. Jen has assumed she's not as divided a persona as Bruce and Hulk but that's because both focused on rage instead of the uber confidence that Bruce might not have noticed because they are family so Jen is unafraid to be as confident and cocky as She-hulk but she wouldn't be so with strangers.

Most people don't as far as I've seen but with She-Hulk I don't think Jen notices the difference in how she acts. I wonder if that was part of the reason Jen calls Mallory a friend after getting that dutch courage into her. She wouldn't act so loose lipped sober but she can be so when she is She-Hulk.

Actually, the last time we saw Melvin Potter in Daredevil season 3, he had gone back to work for the Kingpin after Fisk kidnapped Becky. And Matt, who at this point was without sympathy, turned him over to the feds. So when last we saw him he was in violation of parole and going back to jail. I like to think that if we'd gotten a Daredevil season 4, we would have seen Matt or Foggy defending him. But as it stands, Melvin is out of business.

Those are some great observations and I think you're onto something there. I hadn't picked up on those particularly nuances and I'll keep them in mind with the remaining episodes.

Ohhhh...that's right. I had forgotten about that. Still, poor Melvin. :(

I think he's just there because that's where the costume guy is.

The press copy for the first episode with him gave Todd a second name in the credits
Hulk-Todd

What in the hell happened to Josh Segurra's character, Augustus Pugliese? He went from an intelligent and slightly witty man to a shallow one with a penchant for superhero merchandise and a slight Ebonics-style accent. What happened? And who is the Edna B. Mode wannabe?
