Spoilers She-Hulk: Attorney at Law discussion thread

Have She-Hulk and Daredevil ever been a "thing" in the comics? I'm wondering if they're gonna do anything with him being like the ideal romantic partner for her because he can't see either Jen or She-Hulk, to him she'd just be the same person all the time.

He'd still be able to tell - height & musculature differences.

I've kept out of the discussion on this one so far as for the first three episodes I felt like I was enjoying it well enough but missing the point. Not brilliant, not terrible, just alright. Episode 4 really went a long way to winning me over though. Really funny. The stories feel like one-shot 25 page comics with a light overarching theme. I like it a lot.

Super human glands means superhuman BO vs his super human sniffer. Karen was annoyed that she was not allowed to wear perfume because Matt would wretch.

Bullet proof skin to his superhuman tactile senses ( He can read impressions left by a pen with his finger tips.) would feel like a cheese grater.

Her thunderous heart beat would be deafening.

Yeah but gamma sweat might be honey and lemon for all we know.

Old Dr Who litverse had the Doc smelling of honey or sandalwood.

To DD's senses, Jen might be orange blossom and Shulkie jojoba.

Both great, but distinct.

Gamma Sweat under the tongue should turn one into a hulk, or dead, considering how little Blood was needed to transform Jennifer.

I'm amazed Bruce didn't have a safe sex talk with his cousin.

He'd be more amazed that he'd have to. "You know I've had to be celibate ever since I got this! You've known this for years! I couldn't even hook up with Natasha, and she was sterile!! What part of 'we can't risk creating another one of us' did you not get?!?"

Thinking back on #2, there had to be plenty of work at the DAs office for Jen even if she wasn't a trial lawyer. I think the DA fired her because he didn't want a potential rival for his job come the next election rather than simply her potential to bias juries as a trial lawyer.

So, going into the second half tomorrow: The clear story arc here is Jen/Shulkie embracing her destiny as a superhero, something she’s been resisting tooth and nail so far. Anyone else thinking it’s going to take an Uncle Ben moment to wake her up? Say, her paralegal BFF or Cousin Larry/Dad getting offed?

I'd say that is the central arc set out from ep 1 when Bruce told Jen denying half her existence was no way to live. Jen's opening speech in #1 argues to the court whether those with power should a) just refrain from misuse or B) bear a responsibility toward those without power. The case argued for B but Jen has been clinging to A as hard as she can all the way through the series, so far. Events won't let her. She only started to realize that looking at her reflection in the car window after the fight with the wrecking crew. It's the first time Jen looks at She-Hulk like She-Hulk instead of seeing herself. The dating episode was more of the same culminating on the hot doc bailing when he didn't wake up to She-Hulk, just Jen.

The Titania case sets up Jen to start claiming She-Hulk for herself. To begin finding the balance between what Jen wants, plain Jen, and what is that she is She-Hulk. She needs to start deciding who that is instead of letting everyone else define She-Hulk which is what has happened to Jen up to episode 4.
