...a white male with blond hair (with his reincarnation--as Carter Hall--bears the same appearance / racial make-up), hence the historical inaccuracy. Aldis Hodge's casting goes a long way in correcting what was a conscious (and long-lived beyond the 40s) whitewashing of the various people of Africa.
The reincarnation into a different body was of no concern to Neville & Fox, who saw the blond-haired white man as a preferable
constant in the character's past and then-present.
