If it lasted six months, I could retire.
When I have more energy (maybe tomorrow), I'll get into this further, but I think the arguments people are making come down to what D&D calls "alignment", which goes from Lawful to Chaotic and Good to Evil. Where one's alignment falls determines very much how one feels about legal/illegal and moral/immoral.

Yeah, the look of the BA posters is spectacular.
Just another commenter here who has enjoyed the CW shows. Yes, like most shows, there were ups and downs. There was a season (or a bit more) of Arrow I skipped. I'm not sure if we'll watch this last season of The Flash (since it's The End, I probably will). I was deeply disappointed with the ending of Supergirl. I was saddened that Batwoman had a lousy last season after rebounding so well from Rose's departure. Black Lightning was generally awesome. Legends was often the highlight of my week. S&L was amazing first season, less so this last season, and I still hope they go back up in quality this season. I love Stargirl and hope it doesn't get killed with all this nasty CW/WB stuff going on. (For the record, I also love Titans, Doom Patrol, and the sadly-killed-off Young Justice.)

I would LOVE to see less blanket "x sucks" and more substantive discussion, but thems da breaks.
I've read comic most of my life (starting in the early 1970s) and have been *thrilled* to see so much cool stuff being done. No, I haven't liked it all, but I've been glad to have the options to see what people have done. I would very much have liked to have seen the Batgirl movie. I hope to enjoy Black Adam, The Flash movie, Aquaman 2, and the Blue Beetle movie.
Do we have any idea if Black Adam will be following his comic origin at all? I see a ton of JSA heroes (including Atom Smasher, who I knew from back in Infinity, Inc.) - will this be a different Earth than whatever the Earth-1 of the movieverse is?
I know they've been pushed back, but does anyone have any idea what we can expect plot-wise from any of the other upcoming DCU movies? Other than The Flash dealing with the multiverse.

Ditto! I loved Aldis Hodge on Leverage so I think he'll do well. I'm *really* looking forward to Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate! Anyone know anything about Cyclone? I'm not familiar with her.

I'm gonna spend the whole movie wishing for Christian Kane to show up and yell, "Dammit, Hawkman!"
Indeed. Between that and the teaser, there's a gritty look to the film that I welcome.
Oh, yes, and he's grown as an actor since his Leverage days (great as they were). Based on other solid performances he's given since that time, I expect him to deliver a strong version of Hawkman.
Hopefully. I was never fond of his take on Bond, and thought he was a major example of miscasting in the completely unnecessary remake of The Thomas Crown Affair, but here's hoping with Doctor Fate, he's able to capture Fate's weird aura from some of the Golden Age stories.

Well, obviously at some point he's going to take an object, shine it up real nice, turn it sideways and stick it up someone's candy ass, so at least we'll get some variety in the ass kicking
