Would like to see Enterprise come back…

You know one of them is ending next year right?

Yes, and? They'll just make a new show set in the same time period to be able to use all the same sets, props, uniforms, etc.

And there is no guarantee that Section 31 or Starfleet Academy will be successful.

As much as I loathe both of those premises, I'll bet they'd be more successful than an ENT sequel.

Only the Seven show will be a guarantee.

What Seven show? I haven't heard anything about a new show featuring Seven.

We’ll see. Since I’m out after PIC ends. Since all that will be left is Lower Decks, and I prefer to binge that in a day and treat it a major event like the Superbowl. SNW, DIS & PRO aren’t urgent watches to me. Neither is Starfleet Academy in the 32nd century and Section 31 is going nowhere. And Short Treks is cancelled AFAIK. So, there going to be a significant drop-off of my Trek viewership at least come next year. Since there’s been no return of Sisko. No Archer and crew, regardless if its Romulan War, early Federation, mirror universe, Temporal Cold War craziness, or them doing some sing along. And LD is addressing what happened to the VOY cast. There’s nothing that really appeals to me.

There's been a lot of fan speculation that once Picard ends, we might get a spin-off centered around Seven of Nine. The studio hasn't floated this idea publicly, but I think it would be foolish not to. Jeri Ryan seems to be up for it, since she signed on a series regular for PIC S2 and S3 (and unless I'm mistaken, it would be her first chance to be the series lead in her career). It would also let them re-use the very expensive sets they've built for PIC. Seven of Nine is one of the most enduringly popular characters in ST history, and Ryan clearly has the chops to lead a series.

I suppose one hitch might be that Paramount is trying to do most of its ST productions in Toronto these days for tax purposes, and Ryan might not be willing to relocate (and/or it might be prohibitively expensive to move/rebuild those sets in Toronto). They were only doing PIC in Los Angeles because PIC is built around the star power of Sir Patrick Stewart, who made it clear he wouldn't do the job unless it were filmed in L.A. Maybe a hypothetical Star Trek: Seven of Nine series would be worth it to Paramount to film in L.A. too? Dunno.

Ah, I see. While I have no doubt that the next show produced after PIC ends will utilize the same sets, I have zero interest in having Seven as the lead in that show. I’m simply not as gaga about Jeri Ryan as other people seem to be. But we’ll see.

Fans of any previous or current Trek show can rest assured that - even if they never get brought back - as long as Lower Decks is on the air, they will most definitely be mentioned...

Yes, Star Trek: Seven of Nine is the most likely Trek show to be produced in Los Angeles after PIC ends for that reason alone. Unless you know of another Trek actor who is only interested in working in L.A. only.

Enterprise certainly isn't my favourite Trek series but I do love it and ENT Season 5 is the one unmade Trek project I would most have loved to have seen. I would love to see T'Pol, Trip, Archer or even Phlox in live action somehow in another series, maybe SNW. Enterprise being so disappointing to a lot of Trek fans when it aired, and then being the last new Trek to air on TV for years after being ended in such an abrupt and disappointing manner I think was just so painful for a lot of fans, myself included. A chance to revive Enterprise simply with a small arc for one of the characters (played by the original actor) in one of the current or future Trek series I think would go a long way to healing that old wound. And it would make me personally very happy.

I for one have no interest in a Seven of Nine Show, provided that there’s even a plan to make such a show, of which I have my doubts.

A Seven of Nine show is still more likely than CBS agreeing to the following:

- Enterprise: The Animated Series
- ST: Archer
- ST: Shran
- ST: Reed & Trip
- ST: Phlox
- ST: Mayweather
- ST: Hoshi
- Enterprise Movie
And then ST: T:Pol

Even though that's seven seasons of ENT era content right their

An explosion of ENT content for P+ is wishful thinking and shall remain so until proven otherwise.

Why shunt Reed and Trip together but let the others have solo shows?

If there was going to be a buddy cop series, a Reed and Trip show would be the most likely candidate. Yes, such an idea would be interesting with say, Archer and Shran. But expectations are that Archer will be the West Wing in space show. And Shran might follow a path similar to Archer. That’s all there is to it. I’m not saying that there could not be a show solely about Reed and another show solely about Trip.

And if all these shows were hypothetically greenlit and they all had a single season to them, they all have their own threads to explore where they are all now on the other side of Federation history. That is, instead of its origins leading to its founding, it’s a growing organization that has learned lessons from them.

- T’Mir
- Stance on time travel

There's no shortage of ideas. Anyone who says different is uncreative and out of ideas.

I for one want to see Star Trek: Samuels, about life in the West Wing of the White House the administration of the Prime Minister of United Earth in the 2150s.

I'd love a follow-up with the Enterprise crew. As they are the progenitors for both the original timeline and the Kelvin timeline.

We all know Archer went on to become an admiral, and have several planets and ships named after him.

Hoshi created the universal translator.

T'pol, Malcom, Mayweather, Phlox and Trip's legacies could stand to be explored. It's a shame the show never got a 5th season at the time or a TV movie to cover the Romulan War that was planned.

Or Star Trek: Porthos, a retelling of ENT from the dog’s point of view. Now that’s creative!

Never really though of a season just Porthos. But just for fun.

- origins of Porthos
- time travels and save a young Archer from drowning (there’s some short story about this)
- Kretassians
- A Night in Sickbay part 2
- Archer and Porthos switch bodies (blame the transporter)
- Porthos time travels to the future and meets Spot
- Porthos saves the day from pirates
- away mission without Archer present
- avoids Tellarites
- early Federation

:D
