More news roundup:

The Ms. Marvel post-credits scene is actually from The Marvels. I don't remember if it was confirmed before but Fury is definitely in the film. Footage description in the link which sounds all kinds of wild. I can't wait.

Ironheart footage reveals that Jim Rash reprises his MIT professor role from Civil War. I misspoke before: Anthony Ramos as The Hood is actually in Ironheart and not Wakanda Forever (which makes sense because I thought the film was starting to sound a little overstuffed).

The Quantumania footage sounds like it's mostly the same thing seen at Comic-Con...which we still haven't seen. :(

There's also footage description of Loki but it doesn't reveal much other than confirming that Ke Huy Quan is on the show and playing a librarian.

Similarly there's footage description for Echo but it likewise doesn't reveal much beyond some interactions with Graham Greene's character and Kingpin.

Daredevil: Born Again hasn't started filming yet so instead they showed some footage of his appearance on She-Hulk.

A comic accurate line-up would probably have been more different from the Suicide Squad. The original T-Bolts included a Captain Marvel level powerhouse, an Ant-man like size changer, and two different high-tech characters a la Iron man. This line-up is far more street level, which is the territory you usually expect a Suicide Squad line-up to occupy.

Espionage was at the core of the Suicide Squad, being a government covert ops team. It's membership often leaned to the non-powered types, though with special skills like tossing boomerangs or shooting guns. The original Thunderbolts take of being villains pretending to heroes and later villains trying to be heroes really set it apart. The Squad was never interested in being heroes.

I'm mostly familiar with Suicide Squad from the movies. I wasn't thinking power level but more like these guys seem a bit more professional that what we saw there. Are The Thunderbolts as disposable as the Squad members?

Interesting, this is not what I would've expected. Certainly not formulaic.

Damn, that was not what I was expecting at all. It looks all kinds of crazy, and I am so there for it.

Wow that looks awesome.
The only real surprise for me with the Thunderbolts line up is the lack of Zemo. My one minor issue is that most of these characters are more or less already heroes, so we don't really seem to be getting as much of the villains turned heroes team we got in the comics. I like all those characters, so I'm still looking forward to it.
Time Blake Nelson coming back for New World Order is a huge shock, only because I assumed if we ever saw him back as The Leader it would be in a Hulk story.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him turn up in She-Hulk. Remember that nobody knew that Jonathan Majors was going to appear in the season finale of Loki until we saw him on our screens.

...and the reason why we speculated he might appear, beyond tangential connections throughout the season, is because we knew he was going to appear in Quantumania. Same applies here.

Hm. Seems to be emulating Into the Spider-Verse's artistic sensibilities to an extent, though with its own distinct character design style.

Werewolf by Night looks crazy awesome, like the old Universal monster movies. Love it!
The opening looks like a hybrid of the 80s HBO opening with the old CBS Special Presentation

Of the Marvel stuff announced today, I'm honestly the most excited for Werewolf By Night, it looks really fun (and if we're getting Man-Thing, I hope he pops up in other stuff). Thunderbolts is interesting, but I loathe Ghost and "Taskmaster" so that really hurts the project to me. I'll watch it, but I have no excitement for it anymore. When it comes to Captain America NWO I'm glad to see The Leader come back, it honestly makes me wonder if we'll see Liv Tyler again in some project. The Secret Invasion trailer is fine, but I will say if the fan theory that the Fury in the show is a skrull is true, I honestly think it will ruin the entire thing.

As for the other stuff, we didn't get footage of it so I don't have much to say. I hated Ant-Man & The Wasp already, and since the co-Lead is a known Anti-Vax moron I have even less interest in Quantumania, it will be a "skim through on Disney +" film for me. Wakanda Forever is on shaky ground with me, so much of it looks good but it has the other Anti-Vax nutjob which really hurts it for me, I cringe whenever I see Shuri now. They really better not end that movie with Shuri still around, one way or another.

I don't blame her. She probably gets that question every damn day. Variety of people should know better.
Yeah, that's the kind of question that rarely ever seems to get a real answer. I don't think any of these kind of roles ever really have a set length, so you can't really answer it.

Have we heard anything about the Born Again supporting cast? I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed Deborah Ann Woll & Elden Henson come back too. They're just big a part of the Netflix show as Charlie Cox was for me, and it's gonna be really weird if we get Cox back but not them.

As long as Born Again doesn't have the same "Elektra" or "Bullseye" (assuming either of those characters are even involved in the show), I'd be fine with any of the other supporting cast returning, even though I thought that Foggy and Karen were poorly written on the netflix show post Season 1.

I thought even Matt Murdock was badly written, post Season 1. Which would explain why I disliked Seasons 2 and 3.

I really got tired of this anti-Brie Larson crap. And I got tired of the anti-Captain Marvel crap. Mind you, the 2019 movie is not a big favorite of mine. But it was one of the few Phases 3 and 4 productions that I managed to tolerate.
