Galaxy class, Ambassador, Defiant, Centaur, Norway, Steamrunner, Oberth
Nope, none of those are ugly to me.Elkins, Curry / Raging Queen, 3-nacelled Excelsior variant, Yeager, Freedom, Niagara, Ambassador, Disco BoP...
They're right there. Why it has both strips and TMP era phasers? IdkWhy no phaser strips?
More like something that would've come out after the Enterprise-B. So 2295, 2300.This looks like it belongs in 2270-ies.
As I said in my post, it depends on what kind of wear & tear the Titan was subjected to during her lifetime. If the Titan had many missions that put her through the wringer, then it's completely reasonable that she'd wear out much faster than a ship that didn't. Some admiral may have made an arbitrary decision to just have the Titan decommissioned & replaced rather than have her overhauled and refurbished. Another admiral may have done the opposite.I kind of find that hard to believe, since Picard’s Stargazer lasted from the end of the 23rd century to the 2360’s, and didn’t get a replacement for 40 years. Contrast this with the Titan. Riker’s ship was brand-new as of 2379, lasted at the most 20 years, and is then immediately replaced? (granted this is all speculation at this point, but until we know otherwise, that seems to be what happened here.)
Yep. Limited resources. The Federation has multiple worlds to help build starships, we don't. We currently can't build one starship, much less thousands of them. So yeah, our resources are limited.Limited resources?
Bill posted a model of the Titan

It has phaser strips, they're just not visible in the trailer, you can see them on a computer diagram Terry posted in January.

It has move era ball turrets... no phaser strips.
It has indents on the hull of the saucer (again, NOT phaser strips).
This thing looks like it belongs in the 23rd century and its partly hideous.
How can this be a successor to the Titan-A?
It looks ridiculously out of place.
Is ST:Picard intentionally putting out hideous stuff?
Those are the stargazer nacelles.and the Shang III's are Phase II style turned upside down.
Might be a museum, look at the starfleet emblem on the dome, it’s movie era.and is that a SNW shuttle?
