Picard Season 3 Teaser Trailer

It's all subjective. Looks fine to me. Looks real, capable, balanced. Not sure how it is wrong for the era.

It doesn't look like it belongs in the 25th century.
That kind of design aesthetic was abandoned by SF in the 23rd century.
Why no phaser strips?
It LITERALLY looks like a 23rd century ship with oversized (and quite frankly WHY so huge?) impulse engines.

It just looks like a poor attempt at a Constitution knock-off.

Ok. Take your word for it at this point. Agree to disagree, etc.

It has phaser strips, they're just not visible in the trailer, you can see them on a computer diagram Terry posted in January.

However, as we saw, ST:Picard did canonize the Nx-01 refit with the secondary hull (which was featured in the novelverse)... indicating the ship DID in fact serve beyond the 10 year time frame.

We cannot say for certain that the NX-01 lasted longer then 10 years, even with the refit now entered into canon. "These are the voyages" didn't show a single external shot of the Enterprise until the very end of the episode where it was included in the montage of ships. For all we know, the scenes aboard the ship could have been the refit NX-01, we just didn't know it. The shot at the end simply showing the ship as we had known her.

Also, we just saw Child Picard playing with a model of an NX Refit. We've no indication that it was the NX-01. Indeed, in the novels the NX-01 was never refit, it's other NX class ships we see get refit. Granted, the Ships of the Line calendars do actually show the NX-01 as a refit.
