What games are you playing currently?

Mafia 3... Despite mixed reviews in the day it's kind of fun.
I'm done with The Outer Worlds my final run was a kill anything that moves run which gave me the worst possible ending.

Yeah some of those Valkyries were quite difficult, especially the queen. I managed to beat her in the end though.
 
I wanted to play an open-world game on PC, so I'm trying Genshin Impact. It requres 40-something GB of disc space and 86 GB free for the installation process. :eek: I had about 3 GB free, so I spent half the day moving stuff to an external drive or deleting stuff. :scream:

So now I have Genshin Impact all set up and ready to go. It better knock my socks off! I understand that even Breath of the Wild uses 13.4GB of space if you download it onto a console; that's substantially smaller than this game.

From what I understand, Nintendo's patents on the console technology expired. Someone else probably knows more about the detailed stuff.

Trademarks would still prevent the clone console makers from actually calling their product "Nintendo [name of official system]."

So I rage quit and deleted God of War. Awesome game, but one bitch of a boss fight with Silgrun. So, I have all the trophies except for Killing all the Valkyries and the Platinum :(

I bit the bullet and bought Saints Row. I've not played much, but I was laughing my ass off at my character design. He's a pasty, cross-eyed white guy with a skullet, mutten chops and a feminine Russian accent with a lisp :lol:

Note: Kudos to Sony and their DualSense controllers. They can withstand a LITERAL beating. I was punching the fuck out of the controller a few times on the Silgrun battle. The controller's still working, but I have a huge bruise on my leg where the controller was. Hence, the rage quit.

Yes that's a given you can't literally use the word Nintendo in your product but the clones are great. Some of theme can even play NES cartridges

So far I am enjoying this game. I had an initial hiccup with accidentally wandering off course from the first quest and being confused as to why nothing seemed to be happening. But once I got back on track, the story is fun. The 'gacha' mechanic includes paid options, but I understand you can still do quite a lot and get good items and characters and win the game just playing for free. I already got a fairly rare-ish character that I wanted, much sooner than I expected and without paying anything.

I bought the PS4 Pro GOW ltd edition way back in the day just to play this game, and like you i got everything right up until this thing, and after a few goes there was no way i was breaking my nice GOW controller to beat that thing. Lol

I finished the Witcher 3 blood and wine. I am a little bit disappointed that I had to do the bad ending because I couldn't defeat Dettlaff.
 
I'm really enjoying Saints Row. Sure the graphics aren't quite GTA V good, the characters are pretty goofy and the haptic feedback isn't that impressive on PS5... and the driving controls are kind of floaty. But, I'm having fun. And laughing quite a bit.
