If Hasbro has gotten the Trek license that could open up a lot of possibilities. Hmm...also, I wonder how you prime the type 2? Description says a priming handle which could be awkward to hold and prime.

I literally had a Star Trek dream about 5 or 10 years ago that they made a NERF First Contact Rifle and Phaser, and woke up with a discouraged "pssh, like THAT would ever happen" feeling. After all, when in the past 20 years has Star Trek merchandising been just plain FUN?

Now I finally have something to shoot NERF darts at my cousin and brother! Resistance is futile!
