This one was great, but felt too short. Can't wait to see what happens next. I'm genuinely enjoying the humor, and I've already developed a real fondness for Tatiana Maslany.
Which is no different from sitcoms on network TV, after removing the commercials.but not digging the 30 minute sitcom plan, especially when after opening and closing credits, we’re getting 20 min or less of story
Yeah, I was just watching a couple of Two and Half Men episodes from 2004. Clocked in at 21 minutes, including the opening theme song and end credits.Which is no different from sitcoms on network TV, after removing the commercials.
Leaving a prison facility when you're incarcerated for a crime and serving a sentence, (even if you walk through a portal back into the prison a few hours later) without a pardon, parole, or some sort of court order is in itself a crime; and in most cases will automatically add a number of years to whatever existing sentence you have.
A prisoner of war situation in a World War is not the same thing. In fact a prisoner of war has the duty and standing order to try and escape and return to his countries army. Then Col. Hogan should still be in Stalag 13 today.

Hogan was an spy and saboteur using being a POW as a cover. If he was caught doing either it probably would have been worse than being caught as an escaped prisoner.Col. Crittondon agrees with you, but he didn't see what they were doing as escaping. In and out, in and out, sabotage, and funneling other escapees through an underground railroad.
Crittiondon was legally obligated to cooperate with the Germans, and tell them everything, when he temporarily out ranked Hogan, unless its about escape.

The short run time makes the humor hard to stick the landing on but I have liked the style of it. It strikes me a lot like Boston Legal where the situations make up as much of the humor as the line delivery. Also, it's comedy is melded with comic book drama rather than a straight up comedy, like Boston Legal. However, that does need more time to work well. The show length is better for one liners but the humor seems to be looking for a goal that needs more time to set up and land well. It works for me but 9 episodes, 30 minutes or so, rushing is going to be a thing.Yeah, I was just watching a couple of Two and Half Men episodes from 2004. If it seems too short, there's a problem with pace. If intended as a comedy, I call it "laughs per minute." Too much set up, not enough humour. That can go for drama and action as well.
Haven't made up my mind about She-Hulk yet, but I wouldn't say it's amazing or hilarious. I think the family scenes in Ms Marvel were a lot more fun.
I can't help but notice that list has the titles in reverse-alphabetical order.Have you all noticed shifting episode titles? This site has the 2 titles we've seen at #9 and #4, if the titles have been A Normal Amount Of Rage & Superhuman Law.
- Episode 1: Whose Show is This
- Episode 2: The Retreat
- Episode 3: The People v. Emil Blonsky
- Episode 4: Superhuman Law
- Episode 5: Ribbit and Rip It
- Episode 6: Mean, Green, and Straight Poured Into These Jeans
- Episode 7: Just Jen
- Episode 8: Is this Not Real Magic?
- Episode 9: A Normal Amount of Rage
Ironically, Tony gave the the Spider-Man suit in Homecoming Jennifer’s voice (which I assume was an in-joke as she’s married to Paul Bettany, the voice of Jarvis, in real life). There’s been multiple spots in the movies they could have mentioned her and didn’t (though Tony kinda did when nicknaming the Hulkbuster ‘Veronica’)
I fully expect a recast if we ever see Betty again. Hell, they might even give Jennifer Connelly another shot!
Well they have to do the same if they decide to bring back General Ross in any capacity (unfortunately).Liv just doesn’t seem to be interested, or Marvel wasn’t too impressed with her. There’s been multiple spots in the movies they could have mentioned her and didn’t (though Tony kinda did when nicknaming the Hulkbuster ‘Veronica’), and in her one What-If appearance they didn’t even try to make her look or sound like Liv.

Sam Elliott might be available.Well they have to do the same if they decide to bring back General Ross in any capacity (unfortunately).
