Thanks for the recommendation! Knowing that you baselessly and prematurely hated it for irrational and sexist reasons made me even more convinced that it was going to be lighthearted, smart, enjoyable fun, and it was. 9/10.Good God, this show looks Dead on Arrival. Phase 4 has been nothing but a train wreck, maybe this series will lead to an event but OMG She Hulk appears to be as infallible as another Disney + character I can't stand. Kate Bishop.
I would have thought you would have liked it, just for the fact that she was avocado green for half of the episode.![]()
Yeah, I saw that article last night and I agree the change was the right call. Especially with Jen's on-point comment about how people wouldn't be able to focus on this lawyer show until we got our origin story. She knows her audience well.I did read in Variety that a lot of ep 1 was actually going to be in ep 8 according to the head writer but they moved it up because they felt fans would want to see Jen's origin story sooner. That was the right move. Leaving the origin story for ep 8 would have been a big mistake IMO.
Beyond the details of the origin I thought it did a good job of introducing us to the character which I think would be a mistake to push back."Yeah, I saw that article last night and I agree the change was the right call. I don't remember ever hearing that. Which would be odd since Ruffalo has always played both so why not Maslany.I seem to remember them talking about using a different actor for the She-Hulk part. Does anyone else remember that?
Either way, so glad they didn't do that.
Maybe for motion captured stunts?I seem to remember them talking about using a different actor for the She-Hulk part. Does anyone else remember that?
