NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

Anyone in LA sweating Matt Stafford's right elbow tendinitis, @1001001?

Not yet.

He won’t play in preseason at all, and they’ll limit him in practice to let it rest and heal.

If he’s still having pain in September, then yes I will worry. It’s a long drop from Stafford to John Wolford.

In the latest "the team doesn't respect me so I want a trade" contract negotiation breakdown news, Bears LB Roquan Smith wants out of Chicago.

Will the Lions retire #9 if Stafford gets in the Hall of Fame? Because they just gave it to rookie WR Jameson Williams after he asked Stafford for permission.

I struggle to see Stafford getting in, at this point. Though another couple of years performing like he did last year, and he probably makes it. Guess we'll have to see what Mister Elbow Tendinitis has in store for him.

Browns intend to start Deshaun Watson, Friday night in Jacksonville.

Alcohol and an unruly crowd could make Watson wish he just stayed in Cleveland.

Feels like time for another 10¢ Beer Night. Hell, even $1 beer would be a massive deal.

The Bears are playing hardball with Roquan Smith; they moved him from the Physically Unable to Perform list (he'd still get paid if on PUP) to the active roster, which means he doesn't get paid if he sits out games, and he can also be fined $40,000 for every missed practice.

Like, I think they should pay him, but he also hasn't so much as practiced in a brand-new defensive scheme, and I'm finding it hard to blame the Bears for being reluctant to make an off-ball guy one of the highest-paid linebackers in the league.

I think it is one of those things where do you really want this kind of headache while a new coach and GM are implementing a new program. They've already gutted the defense, might as well ship Smith out as well.
