49ers released Dee Ford today. That guy could never stay healthy.
A 33 year old coming off an ankle injury. That's the kind of guy we get for the O-Line.
The Kyler Murray deal has a homework clause in it. Well done, Arizona!

Aaaaaaaaand, they've removed the addendum. It caused a distraction apparently.
It served its purpose. It called him out and will have people on his back anytime he has a bad game.
Watson gets a 6 game suspension.
That seems...very odd.

What a joke.
Dolphins lose 2023 first-round draft pick and 2024 third-round pick for Sean Payton and Tom Brady tampering. Owner Stephen Ross is fined $1.5 million and is "suspended" through Oct. 17. Vice chairman Bruce Beal is suspended $500,000.
I know it's really the only way to hurt the team, but players also get hurt to varying degrees when draft picks are taken away. One player won't be a first rounder next year, and one player won't even get drafted.
NFL to appeal Deshaun Watson suspension. Once they tack on games, the NFLPA will take it to court. So he'll probably play a chunk of early season games while this continues to play out.
Edit: The CBA says that any decision by Goodell, or his designee, is “full, final and complete” and binding on all parties. That's black-letter law in a collective bargaining agreement ostensibly negotiated in good faith. The NFLPA doesn't have a legal leg to stand on.
