I like Ms. Marvel's suit. It works well within the culture she comes from and it is reflects positively on her as a person. It is about her abilities, not her body.

Sounds like a good idea. In this case, the thread is clearly labelled as containing Spoilers so they are not necessary.

Yes, but I just want everyone to be happy. Who doesn't want to be happy? Is it really so wrong?
    Ok, I'm being ironic,
And yet, to paraphrase (because I'm just going by memory) the great Spider Robinson, if someone who commits a felony is a felon, then God is an iron. Thus ironess is next to godliness.

I can't wait to see Marvels just because I want to see Kamala fangirling over meeting Captain Marvel.

Just a random thought-- Could they be setting Damage Control up to be the mcu's version of Project Wideawake?

You're not the first person I've seen suggest that. I wouldn't be shocked by it, though I personally would be more partial to the idea that Damage Control maybe has been infiltrated by something like Weapon X or Roxxon.

I've just been taking them as the stand-in for the old government run version of SHIELD, at least until we get to see what Fury is up to again.

For those who aren't familiar with that organization/master plan/conspiracy/super group...what's Project Wideawake?

I mean, she saved cops in the crowd when she caught that truck.

The reason I wonder if Damage Control will be taking up that task in the movies is because Project Wideawake was already used in the FoX-Men movies.

    Thank you both!

...somehow I don't remember that name at all from the X-Men movies.

I could see people not liking the show, maybe not liking the character but it seems like it would be hard not to like Iman.

We're seeing a whole new generation of actors who have now grown up these worlds beyond the comic pages and have immersed themselves from a young age as true fans. David Blue (Eli Wallace on Stargate Universe) was such a fan of the whole Stargate series and was regarded as an informal creative consultant to the other actors and writers.

Finally got through it. I like this one for the way it represents Muslims. The characters are well done but the plotting of the main story was a bit meh.
