If you can't see it, then I don't know what to say.
Say that gutless fanservice appealed to you more than anything else.

No need to be rude. People enjoy this movie. And not just for whatever made up reasons are being stated by those who don't.Say that gutless fanservice appealed to you more than anything else.
Yawn.Say that gutless fanservice appealed to you more than anything else.
It had nothing to do with the fan service, I wasn't a big fan of those movies.Say that gutless fanservice appealed to you more than anything else.
Yawn.
It’s not all I can do. It’s all the effort such posts deserve.Well, coming from a guy who thinks Nolan's pretentious pseudo-dialog is engaging I'll take that as a compliment.
I mean, all you can do is say variants of "Yawn" so we all know how this will go.
It’s not all I can do. It’s all the effort such posts deserve
That a piece of entertainment is not to YOUR liking is not a licence to suggest others who do like it are somehow defective in their judgments.
More that you're incapable of it.
Show me where I’ve either said or agreed with such a sentiment. I can wait.Tell that to the ones who think the MCU was apparently "The death of all cinema".
I belive they have treatments for your narcolepsyYawn.
I guess that explains the empty chair.Wanda's kill count could have been two higher.
Wanda almost killed 2 more major characters in 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' (yahoo.com)
She slices our Mordo's head off and claps her hands to kill Wasp.
Perhaps. But your post isn’t it.I belive they have treatments for your narcolepsy
A tactic to draw in people who disliked the MCU and just liked the older Spider-Man stuff.
To me, fan service isn't "satisfying the fan base." I would hope the fan base would satisficed with a good story. Fan service comes across as a wink to the audience and says "See? We like this too."I don't get some people's hang up with fanservice. As if making a movie that satisfies the fan base is some sort of sin.
But one does not necessarily preclude the other. To me, fan service isn't "satisfying the fan base." I would hope the fan base would satisficed with a good story. Fan service comes across as a wink to the audience and says "See? We like this too."
Agreed. Most people I know who love the current MCU also liked the first two Spiderman movies with Maguire. Things got rocky after that and opinions vary with Garfields run, but I always thought they were good, but it was a reboot that came a little to soon. Watching his two films now I think they hold up very well. NWH was a nice cherry on top because it basically says" don't worry. Those other guys are still canon no matter how many times we recast the role."In reality, most people who like the MCU like the old Spidey-Movies and the other way around. It was an exciting and satisfying way to bridge a gap and after 2 decades at the cinema, Spidey is a character who deserves a bit of fan service.
I like all the Spider-Men. It was joyous to see Maguire, Garfield (a seriously underrated Parker IMO) and Holland together.
