Same here!<Insert Sir Laurence Oliver in Spartacus gif>
I liked No Way Home and Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
No such thing as "and" on the internet. There must be only one!!!!!Same here!
And. AND. I argue both have good stories and great character arcs.
Man, Strange's body decomposed fast.
No Way Home was fucking awesome. It could have easily fallen flat, but they threaded that needle very, very well. (Also, I'm a big Spider-Man fan. The 90s animated series was my introduction to Marvel, so perhaps I'm biased.)As someone who generally opposes fan service that film has a great story around acceptance of the role Spider-man plays. I loved it. My wife loved it. My kids loved it.
I'm probabably biased as well, as I have enjoyed Spider-Man since the 90s cartoon as well. I liked the first Spider-Man movie, enjoyed the second one and couldn't stand the third one. I didn't like the first Garfield one and really liked the second one. I find Holland's Spider-Man to be closest to the 90s cartoon. No Way Home was fucking awesome. It could have easily fallen flat, but they threaded that needle very, very well. (Also, I'm a big Spider-Man fan. The 90s animated series was my introduction to Marvel, so perhaps I'm biased.)
Man, Strange's body decomposed fast.
Remember seeing his leg decomposing when it was stabbed at the very beginning? It's because of the monster stab wounds.Mmmmmagic!

Preparing the stage...
I don't get how anyone can say "No Way Home" had a good story, the whole movie was gutless fanservice.
Bringing back Tobey and Andrew and their old villains (which was a big draw of the older movies, the scene-stealing villains) was gutless. A tactic to draw in people who disliked the MCU and just liked the older Spider-Man stuff.
Uhg. Sorry. That's what I get for having multiple tabs open. Deleted. This is the Doctor Strange thread.
Not your fault. These MCU movies all blend into one these days.Uhg. Sorry. That's what I get for having multiple tabs open. Deleted.
It had a good story that took advantage of the 'fan service'.
It wasn't 'gutless'. Whatever that means.
That's the story in a lot of comics. And it did it well. What story? "Gotta catch all the villains"?
And then Strange points out how Peter didn't need to make the world forget him, he just had to contest the decision of MiT and they'd let him in.
What story? "Gotta catch all the villains"?
